A must have! Light weight

I moved to a neighborhood where I park my car on the street and SO HAPPY I got this! I easily installed the app and set up on my phone. last night I was able catch 2 intruders trying to break in to my car and the other cars!! I was happy I had it on and was able to share the recording in the neighborhood page! Night Vision was very very clear. I was impressed compared to other cameras. It’s very light so it’s easy to use double tap to stick on the wall. Highly recommend it

I read the negative comments to find any flaws. Glad I then judge myself as to there accuracy. Just take your time and follow the instructions, it installs without issue. There is an IP and MAC address associated with the device. Don't know what that one negative comment was about. You go to mipc.com after install, use the password created during install, and you can set up the motions etc. Also has as large camera view. Plan to use it to watch robin bird's nest and share with young grandkids.

Easy to Setup Wireless Camera at a Great Price!

I just moved into a new house and the neighborhood around me isn't exactly the greatest. I am fairly new to security and decided to just try this one because I am on a budget. The camera is small and convenient. Comes with a USB power adapter/cord to plug the camera into. You will need to download the MIPC app and it walks you through setup. Setup is easy. It will give you instructions to connect to your 2.4GHz network (not 5G network). Once it connects, you use the app the view the camera feed. So far so good. I will likely buy more of these and place them in different spots of the house. Quality is good for the price and motion was coming through good on the app.

Whoa!!! ok,this is amazing! so I noticed alot of things have been vanishing in my house, weird..so i needed something to catch the culprit! I am not a smart tech person at all,but I followed the directions step by step and my crappy router isn't even close by,so I really didn't think it would connect, I was so wrong it took 2 second and boom done,definitely recommend! Best 20$ I've ever spent lol

Easy to use for those who are computer savvy.

THE DESCRIPTION IS DECEPTIVE: THE CAMERA IS NOT WIRELESS. You have to keep the camera plugged into an outlet in order for it to work....so I'm not sure why they think it's ok to put "wireless" in the description. Also, I'll be honest for those of you out there considering making this purchase: this camera isn't for novices. You should have some experience with security cameras in general (installation, configuration, identifying errors related to camera or network, etc). With that being said, this is one of the better WIFI cameras that I've owned. The quality of the images is fantastic, you can basically hear a whisper from across the room with the microphone on, and night vision is hands down the best I've seen out of any camera, ever. I'd recommend this if you're planning on using it inside a home you share with a roomie, or an apt complex with maintenance that may have sticky hands...(i.e.: if you have roommates that you'd like to keep outta your room...put this in an inconspicuous spot, hit record, or use the "alarm" button and let them know they've been caught!) Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with the image quality, the video feedback, and the audio. It's basically everything it claims to be, minus the whole "wireless" thing.

Nice camera.

We really like this camera. We use it as a dog cam to check on our two dogs when we are out of the house. I like that you can even use the camera to talk to them also. Has a nice picture and the night mode has a great picture also.

All the Features of an Expensive Camera for Less

PROS: -GREAT CONCEPT: The device keeps record when there was unusual motion caught by the camera. You can set this up to detect instances of "Motion", "Face", "Sound" and "Humanoid". -FEEL SAFER: I wanted to find an inexpensive solution to keep watch of my front door without subscribing to a home security system. The device and app does the job because I get phone alerts when there's unusual movement at my door while I'm away from home. -LOUD ALARM: If I see something I don't like in the stream, I can press an Alarm button which makes a loud siren to scare anyone (or anything) away. This has been useful when my neighbor dog tries to leave a present on my front lawn! -SPEAKERPHONE: I couldn't imagine a cheap camera having a speakerphone option, but this one has it. When someone is at my door, I can talk to them through my phone! -GOOD NIGHT MODE: I was surprised at how well it can record objects at night. This is a feature that inexpensive cameras usually don't have. -TOGGLE DAY/NIGHT/AUTO MODE: I place the camera on a windowsill because I don't believe it will stand up to weather if I leave it outside. Once caveat to using it in front of a window is that it can't detect beyond the window glass in "Night Mode". It will simply show a bright white reflection of itself. However, I found that if I used "Day Mode" during the night, it will view everything just fine, I just need to have the area illuminated so it can detect light. CONS: -LAGGY PLAYBACK: All the features in the MIPC App are well thought out. However, the current update I'm on makes playback of recorded videos really slow. I can see times and videos where there's motion, but it takes quite a while for them to download. I haven't been able to view any of my "Snapshots" yet either. However, I'm sure MIPC will fix it in an eventual update.

Super Sleuth Spy Device

This is perfect for spying on our dogs while we're on life saving missions! Day or night, if we're called to duty, we can make sure they're not creating any doody. (Not that our dogs would because they're very well trained, but you know, puns.) We can also make sure the evil cat that sometimes lurks in the shadows of the bins underneath our bed isn't trying to let a dog out of his kennel and lure him to his demise. We can also make sure she's not in bedroom because she's not supposed to be there in the first place since her litter box is downstairs and she WOULD create doody because like I said, evil. (She's a really bad house elf cat, I tell ya.) It's so small and compact and can be placed anywhere without detection. The one thing that would make this spying device super sleuth is if it could remotely turn as needed with the app, but luckily, like I said, dogs were trained well at their good boi spy school and stay put until they receive further instructions. Get this to spy on your dogs, cats, lizards, grandmas and babies alike!
