Amazing Functionality and Quality for the Money

I'm a photographer with thousands of dollars in equipment including specialized macro gear and this simple inexpensive device surprised me. It is easy to operate and get good results by anyone. The screen does a good job of displaying the subject in real time and letting you adjust focus for photos. The amount of variable magnification beats my equipment, although the quality of the photos isn't as high. The quality can be improved by adding additional light soft sources and then adjusting the white balance and contrast in post. The first thing I did when I got it was stick my thumb under it and take a picture and was surprised at the amount of detail it captured; I have also included pictures of a butterfly at 2 different magnifications.

Nice Microscope for Closer Inspections

I was pleasantly surprised by this microscope. It worked out-of-the-box without much fuss. The display screen is decent and it also easily displays on my computer as well. Easy to take still pictures. You can't see microscopic organisms with this, but it does magnify things for a closer look. Maybe 100x ? I don't remember.

Fun to use

This digital microscope is small but has got great quality pictures; its magnification is really good. It was pretty easy to assemble and use as well. The stand which hold microscope is made out of metal and the microscope seems sturdy too .It has also got in-built LED lights which you can adjust for better viewing. It has fewer buttons so kids can handle it easily.

Great microscope

I use this for more than I had intended. The base is weighted to securely hold the camera/display in nearly any adjustable position. The display is clear and bright and the device is easy to use. I use this primarily to inspect circuit cards and coins. My wife uses it to study rocks and minerals. The camera/display can be removed from the base to inspect circuit cards that are still mounted in the case. With the built in light, the camera can see things I cannot in places I would have to disassemble the component to view.

An incredible microscope with Incredible features

This microscope is fantastic at a fantastic price. It is super simple to set up. It has an on-board rechargeable battery so you can take this in the field with you. I am using this to find diseases on plants. All you do is press and hold the power button. Now it is ready to go. It works just like any good quality microscope where you move it up and down based on the zoom you want. Then you can adjust the large dial for focus. The top left corner will show what mode you are in, picture or video. Now you can take pictures or video with it. You can view those by just depressing the d key. And you can view through using the up and down arrow. Now by pressing the MC you can select whether to delete this photo or protect a photo or run a slideshow of your photos. It is that simple. There is also many settings you can make allowing this unit to be extremely versatile. All in all it is the very best microscope I have ever had and the most simple to work

Helpful microscope for curious kids.

Its a gift for my nephew. he is very happy with ths.now he is busy to do scientific experiments. the lens light is bright to illuminate objects.connect easily to mobile phone. its zooms objects a lot.come with a protective cover for lens area and a stand. its truly a high quality product. I will buy another fr my son. Highy recommended specialy for kids.

Great for many things.

I bought this for my husband who has started coin collecting. He wanted to easily be able to see the writing to check for any die errors. He had previously been using a magnifying glass and was hunching over his desk. Finally, he doesn't have to hunch over like that! The magnification is great, I can stand behind him and see what he's seeing. He's absolutely thrilled with it. I will say that up to this point we have not used the camera or put any pictures on the computer. We will eventually but at this point I cannot comment on that.

Amazing digital microscope!

I got this digital microscope for the school where my sister-in-law works. It's a school for troubled boys. The school is not well funded and I donate a lot to them. But, I just had to try it out, before I gave it to them. It's great! I'm not sure on how to increase or decrease the magnification. I haven't figured that part out yet. But, the lighting and focus are easy to adjust. The resolution, too. It has an onboard micro-SD card memory and can record pics or videos of your object. It also has it's own battery, so it's very portable. The big LCD screen makes things really easy to see. In my pic, you can see how well it magnifies a very fine single twist thread. I really like this lab quality instrument. Five stars.

7” screen is nice

Picture is good not really a complaint just good. I really like the 7” screen. Nice. Easy to use is “ok” once you get the hang of it being self taught and all. (No instructions). And you will need a 10mm wrench to loosen the bolt for the arm to come up The Price was I think about right for what I bought. I bought this because I like to collect coins and looking at them under magnification makes them even better for the hobby. But this unit doesn’t allow you to see the whole coin. only half the coin maybe. so if you’re wanting something that you can see the whole coin with. This is not the right product for you.
