Amazing Headset for the Price!!!

Ok, so I'm a professional audio engineer, usually working with pro studio gear, and I got this headset for my little brother, who is an avid gamer. We were both VERY impressed with the quality of this headset for the price! The woven cable cover, and super thick headphone padding makes this headset feel like it's from a much higher price tier than it actually is. My one concern would be that, since the headphone padding is so soft (it's like a super soft faux leather), I would think that it might start wearing out after a bit, and require replacement padding sooner rather than later, but we will see. The manual controls along the cable are in a nice and convenient location, and are big enough that they're easy to find by touch. My brother was happy about the mute button, which is good for gamers, and we both thought the multicolored lights that glow from the headset are a nice touch. We also both found the headset to be very comfortable to wear, and the volume knob gave a nice range from quiet to loud, making it easy to quickly arrive at a comfortable listening level. In terms of the sound: I tested out the headset, both the headphones, and the microphone. I was very impressed with the sound quality! There was definitely more of a boost in the low and low-mid frequencies, which we usually don't want in recording studios (because we want to know the honest frequency balance of what we are working on), but it's very common for consumers/gamers to enjoy this feature, because a lot of people love bass! It had good, clear, and clean sound quality in the headset, and didn't sound "muddy" like a lot of other affordable headphones. The microphone also impressed me! It picked up my voice nicely, had a good signal level and didn't introduce too much noise, and works well and consistently. In terms of the sound quality, it's a GREAT choice for the price! My brother was very happy with how easy it was to set up. He's told me stories about the lengths he's had to go to get other gaming headsets to work with his system. But with this headset, he plugged it in, and had it working within minutes. No problems! Overall, especially when you consider the affordability of this headset, I think it's a great choice!

Awesome gaming headset with great mic

So I have a lot of great things to say about this and only a few drawbacks from it being the perfect headset. I have used several types of gaming headsets and these are now my favorite pair because of the driver and the nice microphone. The surround sound on them is fantastic and works very well, and everything just fits exactly as it should. So here are the good and bad points of what I found after using these for a couple weeks so far. PROS: 1. Great microphone for a headset - I usually complain about headset mics, but this one surprised me a lot 2. Noise cancelling - Perfect for when you have animals, kids, and a busy street next to your house, game on! 3. comfortable - I wear them for at least an hour at a time and never get uncomfortable, soft and comfy 4. Build quality - well made and sturdy, they feel like they will last me a good while 5. Sound quality - the driver is awesome! Great for music, games and movies. It sounds rich and warm. CONS: 1. Lack of extra output cables - It would have been nice to get an adapter or something to make these compatible with phones. These are a headset I would recommend to anyone.

Fits well

I purchased this for my son, but was afraid that it wasn’t exactly what he would need even though he gave me the ok to go ahead and buy. Once we received them, I had him write the main part of the review below since he was the primary user. I DID notice that when his b-ball was to me, that he could not hear me calling. He definitely heard me with his previous headphones. His review: The headphones have a comfortable fitting around the ears, built for long periods of gaming and\or listening. They have a sleek build and easy controls. The microphone had to have some adjusting and tweaking before it would work up to my standards, but after that, there was very little background noise and you could hear me clearly. The small control panel on the middle of the cord is a bit heavy and can catch, but the cord is long enough that the control panel does not touch anything when sitting while gaming. The lights are not necessary, but I think they add a nice touch. You can turn them on and off on the control panel, as well as the microphone. The microphone itself has notches that it goes into when you are lowering it down to keep it in place. The headset part has an adjusting system that fits perfectly to my head and anyone bigger.

COMFORT AND GREAT SOUND

I love this headset. Comfortable, durable, reliable, and the voice changer options are hilarious! I definitely recommend these for not just gaming, but great for listening to music and also live-streaming!

A great buy for the price

Some of the reviews mention it clamping to the point of hurting, but I felt that it was just the right fit for my head. It comes with a nice, long cord so that it can fit your set up well, no matter how far away from the tower you might be, and the cord itself has an outer woven layer, which I think is a nice touch for a headset in this price point. It comes with a link to surround sound drivers, which makes it great for games where you need to hear where sounds are coming from. The sound itself is crisp and clear and is one of the best from recent headset purchases I have made. The plastic shell seems to be fairly hardy for the price point. Overall, if you are looking for an affordable headset, this is a great choice.

Makes movies and games come alive

Pros: I bought these to have better gaming experience and I was not disappointed. When playing games these headphones proved to make the games come alive with vibrant sound. The next thing is how well the noise is canceled out in the background. The microphone is attached with a six inch flexible boom that picks up my voice and is of such a good quality that I can use it to make videos. The controls are easy to reach, being on the cable, and work the volume, Headset lights and microphone with ease. The headphones connect via a 2 meter long USB cable, so I can use them with my Chromebook and Windows PC by simply plugging them into any free USB port. One of the biggest pros is that I can wear them for an entire movie and they do not cause any neck or head strain and the mounting gear is well padded and flexible. Cons: I seriously have not found any cons with this headset, that why it gets 5 stars. Final thoughts: I have to say that I am impressed with the sound quality in both the speakers and the microphone. Both have met my needs in games and creating videos.

Extremely comfortable!

I work in a call center (WFH right now). We are issued these very old school headsets; they stay on by squishing your ears, which is very uncomfortable after about 15 minutes--and we have 8 hour shifts. My manager said we were allowed to use our own headsets as long as they were USB. While I had to call the company help desk to get the headset to work, that was an issue with my user permissions (could not change my default audio/mic device, and possibly couldn't install the appropriate mic driver), now that we've got it working, it's soooooo comfortable. It does not put any pressure on my ears at all, though it might cause a problem if I wore large earrings. It blocks a lot of background noise and the audio is clear. It also doesn't pick up too much breathing noise, while still picking up my voice very well. I will have to see how the cord lasts (other people have complained about it getting ratty because it's cloth covered), but the cord is very thick, as much as a laptop power cord on the computer plug side. I think this is going to make my workdays so much better!

Great budget headset for gaming and work-from-home.

I was really surprised with great sound quality of both the headset and mic. Other than gaming, I also use this set to do customer service at home, and it works really well. Also, the ear cups are large and comfortable to wear for hours. I wear hearing aids, and the inside of the cups are big enough that they don't give me trouble with feedback, likesome headsets do. The inline controls are a bit 'chuncky', but I like that it uses a volume wheel instead of buttons. You can really dial it in to where you want. One demerit I would give is that the link for drivers didn't work. However, just go straight to the jeecoo.com webpage and grab them under downloads.

Great Quality, really good bargin

I received my headset within the last 2 hours, but so far the experience with my USB Xiberia V22 has completely blown me out of the water. Voice Quality - I wasn't initially expecting much out of the microphone quality due to the lower price tag, but even with my wife loudly listening to TV and the washing machine running nearby, the unidirectional microphone barely picked up any of the noise. And the voice changing feature built into the Virtual Surround Sound interface is really fun to play with. Speaker Quality - Amazingly good, I was completely blown away by the audio quality through this headset. They completely outperform a headset I own that is more than twice the price, it is incredibly clear and precise audio and the volume is much better as well, I am listening to a song on the Xiberia V22 right now at 10% Volume where my usual headset requires between 50%-80% to get the same kind of results. I tested a song on 100% just to see what would happen, and my wife who was sitting almost 10 feet away could clearly hear the song like she was wearing the headset. Virtual Surround Sound - It's honestly great, there's a lot of optional settings to allow you to mix and match based on what your doing, and it is surprisingly versatile and for a free program that you can download after purchase it is absolutely outstanding. Design - I have a very large head, to the point that One Size Fits All is normally too small, and it is very hard finding hats or headsets that actually fit me properly. The headset is adjustable for people of all sizes, and with the extra thick cushioning that comes built into the headset this is one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. It is very comfortable and fits me very well. Regarding concerns of ears getting warm, I've been wearing it for around 2 hours straight as of writing this review and my ears are slightly warm at this point, but it is not an uncomfortable degree heat like I've seen with other headsets as the headset has a good sized open space on the inside of the cushion to allow your ears to fit and have room to breath without being pinned under the cushioning. It's a very solid body construction from what I've seen so far, without feeling too heavy on my head. And there is no noticeable difference in comfort between wearing it with or without glasses, which is a huge plus as that is not often seen in many headsets.

Great sound especially for the price!

I will admit that when I was shopping for headphones I wasn’t being to strict with ideas or features. I just needed them to be able to cover my ears and to have the little microphone you could move from in your face. I only wanted that because I thought it looked cool. So I didn’t pay attention to the features really at all. They were good price and had my necessities. LOL! So when I first flipped my game on and put them o n I was shocked first with the noise canceling feature. If you have never tried this out that alone is worth the money. But the fit was spot on. The microphone was clear and easy to hear all my buddies said and the surround sound was amazing. I just wished I could let everyone else hear it. I am super happy with them but I will say the only negative that may be for someone is the ear cups are big. They fit me great but my kid can’t even begin to keep them on her head. But they are great!!
