Small, easy to use, great sound quality!
I ordered this for a number of uses including allowing me to use my bluetooth headphones with my TV and desktop computer and for use as a bluetooth receiver in my car. I am very happy with how easy it is to set up this device and the number of options / connections that are available for the user. The device arived in a smaller package than I anticipated. The packaging is nothing special, however the device is packed securely and with a nice array of accessories (3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, 3.5mm to RCA cable, USB C charging cable, and optical audio cable) and a surprisingly solid instruction manual. The device came charged, but charging is just as easy as plugging in the cable to the device and then to a 5v power adapter. I loved the fact that they used a USB-C port on this device (welcome to the future!). Setup involved setting the device to your desired mode (Tx - Transmission, Rx - Receiving) via a switch on the side and powering the device on. It automatically goes into pairing mode which makes it easy to connect to your headphones or your playback device. You can connect the device via 3.5mm or optical audio depending on your source or output which is nice. Within just a few minutes I was set up and enjoying my desktop computer with wireless headphones! As the device is so small it is very easy to transfer from one place to another and set up with either my TV or in my car. It works great both as a transmitter or a receiver. Overall I would recommend this device for people looking to add bluetooth functionality to something or who want a flexible device with great audio codecs / audio fidelity and great connectivity.

Great BT transmitter/receiver
What I love about this little Bluetooth transmitter and receiver is that it is easy to use, the BT 5.0 is spot on and there aren't any hiccups in the sound. It works really well for music from almost any device with an audio out. The main use for me is connecting this through the TV and watching a show with BT headphones. I did find, after trying many BT headphones and transmitters, that BT isn't a good option if you are playing the piano through computer software. For example, Flowkey or Playground Sessions. There is a lag between the keyboard ---> midi -> computer ---> Audio Out ---> Transmitter ---> Headphones. I think this is just a limitation to the speed of the technologies at this time. The device is much smaller than I expected, which is nice. I was able to velcro it to the back of the TV (Where it now lives), so it is out of the way, and I can easily watch a show at night without waking anybody up. Cool device - recommend it if you are looking for a solution to non-Bluetooth devices.

Perfect little box
Short review : Has both transmit and receive functions. Can connect to 2 wireless devices. Extremely easy to set up. Comes with all the cables you’d require to make it work. Would recommend without a doubt. Long review : During the lockdown, I’ve found myself using the tv a lot - movies and gaming specifically. I have a large screen tv which makes it an absolute joy to play, but as with all tv speakers, they aren’t as good. I therefore have a good 5.1 sound bar (for space reasons, as I live in a small apartment). However , as I’ve learnt the hard way, you cannot play first person shooter games late night, else you’ll have your neighbors complain about noise. I’ve been looking for a Bluetooth transmitter for my tv (since it doesn’t have Bluetooth built in), and I already have a few Bluetooth headphones and earphones that I could use for this. I looked at various brands and found this one, which came with all the cables I’d need (who has extra RCA / optical cables now when everything is via HDMI?) The device was delivered in less than a week (I blame the delays on the lockdown, not on the seller), and came as a tiny little package that surprised me. I was expecting something bigger - like an Apple TV size. On opening the package, it also contained an RCA male to 3.5 female cable, an optical cable, a 3.5 male to 3.5 male cable, along with a USB A to USB C cable to power the device. The instructions to set it up were very easy and I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. I’ve set it up in the following way - tv optical out to my soundbar for day time viewing. Tv RCA out to the BT transmitter for night time viewing. The transmitter supports AptX and also Low Latency. I didn’t get a chance to test LL as I don’t have a headset that supports this mode. My first setup was with a pair of Anker sound buds that support AptX, the sound was crystal clear, no delays (I didn’t have issues with lip sync), and I could control the volume directly from the earphones. I saw a bunch of tv shows, and I was able to hear the dialog clearly - this was a function of the sound buds, and positively it showed that there is no loss of quality between the TV and the transmitter. I then set up a 2nd headphone to connect to the transmitter in parallel - this was easy too, and the transmitter was able to handle 2 parallel streams. Overall I’m very pleased with the product, and would recommend it, even more if you need to maintain a quiet environment.

Handy Dandy Little Device
This was a huge problem solver for us. Dad moved into a new apartment and had an older stereo. Because of the floorplan, he would have speaker wires running across his floor. We bought bluetooth speakers and this handy dandy little device. Dad can listen to music without worrying about tripping over wires!

Been looking for something like this
Got this today and found it works well for my purpose. I have been using a wireless earphone with the TV since the wife started complaining about having the volume too high for her. Our old TV does not have blue tooth so Ihave been using a stand alone type wireless earphone that will not pair to anything else (not RF). Looked for something to replace it but did not want to spend the amount of money they wanted. Saw this unit and purchased to see if it would meet the need. It paired with my wireless earbuds and with the blue tooth earphones I use with the new TV. Will have to see if it still works well 6 months from now but for the price I am happy right now. For now would recommend to anyone needing a usit such as this for a blue tooth transmitter. (I have not tried the receiver part, so cannot comment on that).

Updated - This company stands behind their products!
I am updating my original review after the company reached out to me personally to replace my item. They sent me the model TT-BA014 which I have utilized for about a week now. The signal strength and clarity of this one is amazing. I was also able to connect my second pair of headphones without problem and both work simultaneously without issue. I am going to assume I got a lemon on my first order, but I am leaving my original review below. Nevertheless, to have the company stand behind their items like this gives me confidence to buy from them in the future. I purchased this item at the same time as the TaoTronics Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter and Receiver, 2-in-1 Wireless 3.5mm Adapter also found here on Amazon. I had planned on utilizing this item in the living room and the smaller 2-in-1 in the bedroom and to take on trips. This item being bigger and more expensive, I expected better range and easier connectivity; I was incorrect in that assumption. This item would cut out when I got out of line of site and within a couple of days it stopped connecting at all, no matter how close I was. I was connecting Bose QC 35ii and a set of Jabra Elite 65t, sound quality to both was good and it allowed connection to both simultaneously for the few days it worked. But the cutting out and then ultimate failure of the device lead to my return. I will say the 2-in-1 mentioned above has much better range than I got out of this device connecting either of my headphones, although I am not sure it will allow simultaneous connection of two devices. Perhaps I got a lemon, but I think I will just buy another of the 2-in-1 and save some money.

I get to use my fav earphones again
I bought this so I can use my fav wired earphones with the iPad Pro. Pros: Easy to pair using included instructions Pairs with 2 devices at the same time Acts as a receiver (which is what I'm using it for) and a transmitter Small and portable Cons: When you switch from receiver mode to transmitter mode, the paired devices get erased and needs to be paired again when going back to the original mode My earphones' plug needs to be partially pulled out of the jack for the volume to work. If I plug it in all the way, the volume is low with jolts of static. I don't have another pair of wired earphones to test with so I'm assuming it's my earphones fault since it's a bit old. But with the plug partially pulled out, the volume is perfect - clear and controllable through your device.

good people, bad times to have tech issues
As it turns out this company and both their overseas manufacturers and their USA based customer service representatives are all top notch folks. Initially there was an issue with my purchase, however just about every member of the Tao firm worked tirelessly to resolve my issue. The Tao group has a Pride of Ownership and manufacturing which is a model for other international corporations. Tao and their real good people doing a tough job should be proud of their efforts. I know that I am completely satisfied. May God keep you safe, hopefully one day we can meet for tea.

Watching television is more enjoyable, the speech is clearer & the sound effects are more realistic
Perfect unit to pair two sets of Bluetooth headphones or earbuds, wirelessly to your television. One thing that is imperative and it's not spelled out clearly enough in the manual....is that you must go into your television sound settings and make sure the sound is not set on DOBBY Digital, because if it is it won't work with this unit. You must change the sound setting to PCM Another tip is that you have the option of turning the sound bar to mute while one or two people use the headphones

Small compact design, connects 2 headphones!
So far I have been enjoying this little bluetooth transmitter/receiver. It has decent range; however does not reach as far as my AirPods Pros do when connected to my MacBook. So far I’ve tested this device extensively with two pairs of Beats Solo 3 bluetooth headphones, and it works swimmingly. Keeping it plugged into the wall does not cause any electronic feedback or distortion, and its generally comparable in quality/range to my Bose bluetooth sound receiver adapter I normally use in my car. The biggest benefit/use of this device is that it allows me to connect 2 pairs of headphones to my Apple TV via optical (ATV only allows one, to my experience), allowing me to not have to deal with rearranging cables/unplugging things for my headphones in the evenings. Pairing with headphones was strange, but somehow worked. Perhaps in the future it would be nice to have a status screen/pairing button interface added, but the Tx/Rx works very well overall!
