I tend to shy away from spicy foods, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to try a new condiment to liven up snacks and recipes with. I was afraid the spice would be overpowering, but it’s actually quite mellow and smooth; just the right touch of heat. So far, I’ve enjoyed this on fruit salad (banana/strawberry/blueberry) with cottage cheese and drizzled on the original Chick-fil-A sandwich....so delicious!

Mike's Hot Honey. They need a 12-step program for it. It's that good. I'm a lifetime customer, now. In summary, this item is 100% Lin Hint approved. I am originally from India and love honey as well as anything spicy! When I saw this product, I knew I had to try it out! Mike's hot honey does the trick! Its good quality honey infused with the right amount of heat in a way not too over powering! Its great on toast as well as straight into your mouth! :)

I am TOTALLY impressed with this product and company. I just emailed them a question to find out if the product was pasteurized or cold infused, because I was curious about the nutritional quality of Mike's Hot Honey. (Pleasantly shock) I received the following response 10 minutes later, "Thanks for reaching out! We do not heat above 110 degrees F, since we use a cold infusion process for with the chilis. We don't refer to our honey as raw, but I hope that answers your question. Kind regards, Michelle" Sooo, anyone interested in knowing if the nutritional properties of the honey have been altered will be happy to know that this product contains ALL of the inherent healthy properties of honey! YAY - great news! For those worried that the product might be too spicy, I would say it is not too spicy. I find that it leaves a pleasant spicy tingle in your mouth. I agree with another reviewer that on a scale of 1-10, I'd rate it a 4. The sweetness of the honey offers a great balance to the heat. This would be great as a dip for veggies, chicken, pork chops, pizza, salmon, and any other foods that you think might benefit from a little bit of zip!!! At $8.95, Amazon's price is $2 lower than my local grocer (Giant Eagle). It does not need to be refrigerated after opening. You could store it in the fridge if it would make you feel better; however, know that it will flow best at room temp. Also, I think a little bit goes a long way. I dispense a small amount at a time to avoid wasting any precious deliciousness of this wonderful product! Anyone who likes a little bit of sweet with a little bit of spice will LOVE this product!

Saw this on a Food Network show and decided to try! LOVE IT! Great honey taste with just a bite of heat at the end. My husband loves "hot" and even grows his own peppers to eat on anything. He really likes this on his French toast and I like it with peanut butter. However, I just made baked beans and added tablespoon of Mike's Hot in addition to the brown sugar (reduced amount) and they were the BEST baked beans ever! I going to tell Mr Bush and Duke about Mike's Hot Honey!

It's just the right amount of heat to make it interesting, but not so hot that it'll interfere with other flavors. One of my peeves about spicy versions of normally non-spicy items is that it's often all about the heat but the flavors imparted by the chiles aren't particularly noticeable or interesting. This honey has a great chile FLAVOR to it, in addition to the heat, but it doesn't overwhelm the flavor of the honey at all. I like it on buttered toast and on fried chicken equally well, and this has definitely become a staple "sauce" for me!

This is now a staple for my kitchen. How I cooked without it before, I'll never know. Makes the best vinaigrette ever, quick pan sauces for pork, unexpected zip in dozens of dishes. Does it come in gallons? Have given it as hostess gifts several times and everyone gets hooked.

I never would have thought of "hot honey" until I ran across this on Amazon. I admit the price was a little steep for my wallet, but I ordered it anyway. I am really glad that I did too. Now, Mikes Hot Honey has become a staple in my cabinet. I get it on "subscribe and save" to get it a little cheaper, but to be honest, I would probably pay double it I had to. I have tried other hot honeys on the market and I keep coming back to Mikes. The size of the bottle is perfect to last me around a month. The consistency is perfect and the level of heat is perfect for anyone that likes that little heat on their tongue but still wants to taste the flavor of the food its put on. And, luckily, Mikes now comes in an extra hot variety. Also, Mikes comes in small single serve jars and I have even seen it in small single serve packets that seem to travel easy. If you are like me and keep small bottles and packets of hot sauce in your purse for those "emergencies" ...then the packets of Mikes Hot Honey should be a must. The one dish I HAVE to have Mikes Hot Honey in is Brussels Sprouts. I put about a half of a cup of Mikes Hot Honey to about 2 tablespoons of Sriracha Sauce (the one with the rooster) and a little black pepper on them and roast them for about 10 minutes. Then take them out of the oven and put foil over the pan for another ten minutes and then I eat them with anything or just by themselves. Bottom Line: of all the Hot Honey brands out there, Mikes is the better value for your money. The Flavor is perfect- just the right heat and sweet balance. It comes in many different sizes depending on your usage. The squeeze bottle comes with a flip top that makes for an easy squeeze and a not-so-messy squeeze too. You can usually save a little money if you order it on "subscribe and save". I found it to be the perfect addition to any sweet and savory dish. And lastly; if you are not a wuss and like more spice...it comes in an "Extra Hot" version.

This stuff is amazing. I keep finding things to put it on. It definitely has a kick but you get used to it after a few times. I’ve used it on veggies (acorn squash was awesome), steak, salmon, and chicken nuggets that I stole from my kids. All awesome. The only thing it didn’t go great on was tacos. But you win some, you lose some. The sweetness of the honey just didn’t have a place on tacos. Love this stuff though.

We loved this! While not super impressive when you taste it out of the bottle as it just taste like honey infused with chili, it really does transform the foods you put it on. Our favorite is using it on ribs. We don't use BBQ sauce anymore. We just make dry rub ribs and drizzle this on as we eat them. Next up...fried chicken! Gone through the first bottle already. I've never eaten this much honey.
