Honestly we are minimalist people. Hate most of the plastic crap. And the repetition of most kids toys make u crazy. I’m not sure what the one star review is talking about - it does NOt need a computer to work. I can update the review long term for its endurance/longevity. My kiddo’s are 3&1, one talking vigorously and the other learning the language/single words but building her vocabulary. This things is awesome! So easy for the kids to use and learn on their own. The screen yes is very sensitive & responsive but great. Seems like a silly thing to complain about. The kids can easily check their knowledge very easily. I literally want to buy one for every niece & nephew & friend w a toddler - which there is MANY! It’s a great little find from my mother. The device has a system that reads when u turn the page and announces the new subject matter. Me & my doubtful man were immediately impressed. And it does the whole thing in espanol too! It’s a winner! Well done LeapFrog!

Teremendously, attractive toy for children age 20 to 24 months

This is one of the best toy that i ever purchased for my son, it does attract kids a lot, specially if they are in the stage that they wana start talking. My son is not really playing with his toys alot, but he loves this one, and he grabs it everywhere with him, it does have a lots of words and things to teach kids, all the colours and sounds of the toy is also attracting them.

Educational

My 10 month old nephew gets so entertained by it. I love watching him play with it. It’s pretty cool because on one of the settings, when he touches the picture it actually teaches him something about the picture. One the the setting teaches him about the sound of the picture he touches and the other setting tells him what the picture actually is. It covers, vehicles, animals, food, vehicles...ect

Amazing quality!

What a great learning toy! My little boy loves it. It’s (light)touch sensitive and his little fingers don’t have to press it too hard. He already knows 75% of the words but hasn’t lost interest in it yet. I believe this book will be good for 3-4 more years when he enters K-1st grade and learns to spell some of the words in the book.

Great way for toddlers to learn first words. Easy to activate for small toddler hands. Nice durable, easy to clean pages.

Great product

This talking book is hands down the best thing I bought my daughter. She was a bit delayed in speech and since buying this book she’s been spitting out new words left and right. It responds well to touch and the pages are very durable which is great in the hands of a toddler!

Pretty good mid size book

My little one is almost 11months and is starting to point at things and loves looking at picture books like these (but with me reading the words..lol). Like other reviews, the book is pretty sensitive which is really good when he has his finger exactly on a picture (mostly just the pictures on the bottom) and my little one loves listening to the book read the word over and over again by just slightly giving pressure on the finger but then again when the whole hand is on a page the book will read a bunch of words and my little one does get sometimes a bit frustrated. But all in all it seems to me my little one is enjoying the book!

Great product for pre-schoolers.

My twins love this toy. Lots of new vocabulary for them and activities and songs that go along. Well worth it and I would reccomened it.

Excellent educational toy

This will probably be the most educational toy I have purchased for my daughter. The item is very durable, the pages are a vinyl type material. It seems like they would be hard to rip. There are three different modes, a music mode a search and find mode and also a reading mode. I really like this book because you don’t have to press very hard the pictures are basically touch sensitive almost like a touchscreen tablet or phone. There are several different sections including pets animals, fruits, food, mealtime, clothes, colors, my body, activities, outside, vehicles, and opposites. This will provide hours of fun once my daughter is old enough to begin learning. Leap frog never disappoints with their products.
