Great value

This meat thermometer is definitely easy to use. It turns on automatically when you pull out the metal piece of the thermometer and turns back off when you close it. I had no problem using it right out of the package without reading the user manual but there is one included if you need it. There is a button to change the temperature between Fahrenheit and Celsius and another button to hold the temperature so it’s easy to remove the thermometer before looking at the temperature if you need. I really like that there are guidelines for cooking different kinds of meat on the thermometer. It tells you how to cook beef well done through medium rare and the temperatures for cooking poultry and ground meat as well. Makes it easy when cooking so you don’t have to look up the temperatures while you’re cooking. The thermometer is easy to store as well, which is great. It has a hole in the top so it can be placed on a hook and it is also magnetic. I have it on my fridge for easy access. The claim of this being waterproof certainly holds up! I can be super clumsy sometimes and accidentally dropped it into a pot of boiling water on the stove while I was using it and it was totally fine. It was easy to clean after use as well. The thermometer takes a 3V lithium battery and I really appreciate that not only does one already come inside the thermometer so I could use it right away, there is a second battery included as well! There is also an opener included to make it easy to open the battery case when the battery needs to be replaced. The user manual includes instructions on how to do this but it is super intuitive so you may not need the instructions. Overall this is a very good product. It’s easy to use and if you do have any trouble, the instructions are easy to follow as they have both written instructions and pictures.

The Juseepo waterproof digital instant read meat thermometer is such a great product to buy if you love to grill out. This digital thermometer has so many great gadgets to make taking the temperature so easy. For starters, the battery life on this device is great, it seems that it lasts for a long time. It comes with two batteries, one of them is already in the thermometer. The black casing is made of this material that withstand high temperatures, so you can get a perfect read on the thermometer. This was the first time using a meat thermometer to cook ribeye steaks. I was so used to just cooking the meat for 10-12 minutes total, then cutting into it to see what the middle looked like. I had been looking for a thermometer like this for a good couple of weeks before I came across this on Amazon and I just had to purchase it. I love the features that this thermometer has. It is so easy to use, and it comes with instructions and an extra battery for when the other one dies. It is nice that it has a small brochure that gives you the different temperatures for when you are cooking steaks. The temperature reading is extremely fast and accurate, plus it has a cool feature where when you press the hold button, it holds onto the exact temperature reading. One of the many nice things about this thermometer was that it was already calibrated when it arrived, so I did not have to go through the hassle of calibrating it. This thermometer also comes equipped with a bottlecap opener, so it is the perfect item to have at BBQs. Having this device has made grilling out so much easier and I cannot wait to use it more now that the summer is beginning to roll around.

This meat thermometer works great, we used it for ribeye steaks last night and they came out absolutely perfect. It’s got a lot of handy features and it came with a helpful temp guide too; previously I would have had to search online to find the right temp at which to cook my food. It also came with an extra battery, which I appreciate. I hate having to hunt down the right battery for little gadgets like this. It's small enough to fit comfortably in my drawer and my hand, and isn't difficult to open, which is a plus since I have early onset arthritis. I used it for a pot roast this evening and my family said it was the best roast I've ever made. I was able to pull it out at just the right time, versus guessing like I always did previously.

Works as I wanted to make sure food is the right temp after cooking

I received this a few days after ordering. I was not as happy with a prior thermometer I had purchased after a few uses, so I wanted to try this one. After opening the package, I was pleased to see an extra battery, a temperature guide for cooking, an instruction manual, and a disk that is used for opening the battery cover (although a coin would likely work just fine). We used it when we cooked dinner and it worked great. The temperature readings seem quite accurate based on how it read the room temp and also the temp of ice water. I like how the probe unfolds and the thermometer turns on. This seems a bit safer than one where the probe is always exposed. The display is large and easy to read and the temperature adjusts quite fast. Since we were having adult beverages with our meal, I also took advantage of the built in bottle opener, which worked very easily. Afterwards, I cleaned it off and then attached it with the magnet to our range hood.

Accurate and Easy to Use

I ordered this meat thermometer recently because I’ve been meaning to get one for a while. Usually, I rely on the food’s color to check if it’s done, but sometimes it can be hard to tell. Having this little device is going to make cooking a little easier (and safer). This meat thermometer comes with directions and is very easy to use. It turns on automatically when the metal thermometer extension is pulled away from the electronic handle. It also automatically turns itself off when the extension is put back in the original position. I imagine this means I won’t need to change the batteries often. It also came with a battery already inside and an extra battery, which was nice. One nice thing about the thermometer is that it came pre-calibrated, so I didn’t have to bother with that. I did test it to make sure it was accurate, just to make sure, and it was. The instruction packet has directions for testing to make sure the temperature reading is correct and instructions on how to recalibrate it if needed. While the thermometer is pretty straight-forward to use, I would suggest that new users read the instructions before using it on food. To take the temperature of the food, you need to hold a button while the metal stick is in the meat for a few seconds to get an accurate reading. Depending on the lighting, the temperature (which can be in F or C) might be hard to read, but there’s a backlight button that can help with that. Also, the picture show the metal stick poking out only a little ways away from the electronic body, but the instructions say to point the metal arm away from the body, as not to melt it. Lastly, the thermometer also comes with a piece of paper that has proper final temperatures for all sorts of meats, which is handy. The thermometer also has a magnet inside it, so I can easily stick both to my fridge (which is right next to my oven) to have right at hand when I need them. All in all, I think this is going to be a handy tool I’ll be using for a while.

I only read a couple reviews and decided to buy this. All I needed was something to check the meat temp and this came with so many other things I didn’t think of that I needed. Besides reading the temp when you stick it in, you can push a button to record the temp so it doesn’t change when you pull it out. The beer opener is always a plus. The magnet is strong to store it on the fridge and I love the fact that you can close the pointer to not only turn off the unit and save battery, but to store it so it does not hurt anyone. Came eith an extra battery as well. The light to read the numbers at night is a great add. Again, I only needed to read the temp to know my meat was done cooking and just love all the extra options this came with. Price is GREAT and I will buy again.

Works great!

This is a pretty nice thermometer. I was a little concerned about the accuracy, so I boiled some water and it was within two tenths of a degree of 212, which is about as good as it gets. Two things that I like a lot about this unit. First the tip is small, so it reacts really quickly, and it's easy to poke into the meat. Second is it lights up so you can easily read it at night, which is great if you're grilling after dark. Well worth the money.

Works for everything!

With everything that’s going on in the world right now, our family is cooking at home a whole lot more than we ever did, so a meat thermometer was definitely a must. I was really impressed with how fast it arrived. It was actually here before it was expected and the expected delivery time was already quite fast. With practically every method of shipping slowed down right now, I was surprised, but really happy because we cook at home just about every day, and most of those meals include meat. This thermometer is large enough that it’s easy to hold but not so large that it’s awkward or difficult to store. We’ve already used it several times, washed it, stored it and pulled it back out again. I have to say I was really happy with the way that it fits wherever I need it. That’s definitely not true of some of the other meat thermometers that we’ve tried out but it’s important to me because I like my kitchen to be neat and everything to be put in its place. I also really liked that this is a digital thermometer. We’ve had some that weren’t and it’s always difficult to tell just what the temperature is. With this thermometer I was able to easily see the actual temperature on the screen in numbers that were easy to read. The fast results are great too so I know if my food is done or if I need to put it back in the oven for a few minutes and there was even a chart in the box and on the thermometer itself to let you know safe temperatures for different types of meat. It turns on and off on its own, which is convenient and saves the battery life (they give you two batteries). And you can swap between Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature readings.
