Direct bolt on, had read reviews about similar products arriving warped, and bolt holes that didn't line up... This piece arrived in pristine condition, bolted right on, and fixed the idle surge these cars are prone to when the pressure regulator fails... My local shop is very reasonable labor wise, but still saved me $100+ thing it myself. Don't know personally about quality of similar products offered on Amazon, but can definitely vouch for this one.
