Great for small spaces.
I picked these up to replace a pair of big box-lights I've been using for about a year. There was nothing wrong with them, but they were just huge! I needed something smaller with more features to take my videos to the next level. I definitely think these will do it. Pros: Size - Even the tripod (though made of sturdier metal and thicker bars) takes up less room than my old lights. Without sacrificing brightness, I've added a good amount of walking room in my office. Lighting - Very bright! I love the ability to change temperature as well. I enjoy a bit of warmth in my videos, and I can do that with these. The fact that I can also add in colors is also huge. I really look forward to trying that aspect out in future videos. These are fully customizable. Portability - These use the same batteries as my other lights, so I can take them wherever I need them without worrying about having an outlet nearby. Modes - There are several different novelty modes like lightning, police lights, TV static, etc. Rotating through the color spectrum is pretty cool, too. Cons: Diffuser - Having used these for six days and shooting several videos, I have come up with one con. The diffuser that covers the LED panel is a thin plastic sheet. It attaches by bending them through the slots of the metal panels. I can adjust the metal panels on the side to better direct the lights, so it isn't that big of a deal. The issue I've noticed is that I now some glare on items in the background of my videos. Will have to further adjust settings to get that right. I think I will likely get some nylon material to drape across the front of them. In the attached video, you can see the glare in the background, and the new shadows on the walls after switching to these lights. Since I recorded the video, I have made adjustments and mostly fixed those issues. Very easy to do, but it takes practice. Definitely glad it has such a good instruction booklet. There is a LOT to learn when making this sort of upgrade! Overall, a great pair of lights. A lot less expensive than some of the others, and I know I can trust this brand. I also use their big ring light!

I'm in LOVE with PiXeL Lights!
This kit includes two LED RGB+Bi-Color lights, two stands, two power adapters, two diffusers, and a very nice carry case with dividers and shoulder strap. They also have built in wireless sync to control multiple lights from one light. Details below. The lights include white, tungsten and RGB LEDs, so they function not only as an RGB Light, but as a high quality Bi-Color light. The range of the Bi-Color is 2600K-8000K. The lights are capable of any custom color on the full RGB spectrum, including gamma, meaning you can dial in a color AND add white to that color. The RGB spectrum is dialed in with 1:360 degree steps for fine tuning to any color. The RGB light units include built in barn doors for flagging light where you don't want it to spill. Included diffusers remove any shadow cast from the LEDs along the shadows of the barn doors. The controls include Mode, Channel an Group (for wireless sync), Power Step (to quickly increase in increments of 25% brighter), and a control knob with Select button in the center. The wireless sync is one of my favorite features to discover and use. I allows multiple lights to be controlled together from one light, with multiple groups and channels, allowing 10, 20, 100 lights with different settings to be controlled from only a few lights. They are powered by AC power or batteries, with a toggle switch to go between either. On the smaller NPF330 2700 mAh batteries, I got about 60 minutes of light at 100% power. Note, two batteries must be used at the same time; it won't work with only one battery. The power brick comes with a cable length from the light of about 5', so the included velcro straps come in useful for strapping the power brick to the light stand. The cable going from the brick to AC power is about 10', so quite versatile. The kit is quite inclusive and professional, coming with a boxy shape soft case for carrying the included 2 light stands, lights, and power adapters. The case has a carrying strap and dividers for all the different parts. It feels like the most professional case of all the light kits I've bought, some costing much more than this kit. Kudos to PiXeL for those kinds of details! The light stands extend to about 6' height. With the built in light mounts, the lights stand about 7' high. The stands are very lightweight, but feel quite durable and strong enough for the LED units. PiXeL is now my favorite company for video lights. They create high quality, highly functional, feature rich lights, at a very reasonable price. This light kit far surpassed my expectations. The brightness of the lights is quite impressive and like the smaller PiXeL G1S light, these are fully customizable. I look forward to seeing what PiXeL comes up with next!

Very nice light kit, I like the all in one concept.
Great light kit to own. The ability to use them as bi-color or RGB lights for special effects comes in really useful. I was able to create my podcast logo in no time. The nice big bag that they come with makes them great for field work. Because they are all in one I don’t need to bring as much gear with me anymore. I only wish that they had a option for soft boxes addition, perhaps in the future. Very good light kit and the price is also great.

This Pixel K80 RGB LED Video Photography Light Rocks!!!
I was so excited for this order more than my husband who knows more about videography. This lighting kit of RGB LED Panels is definitely worth every penny. It comes with padded duffel bag for easy moving and transportation with enough protection. It also includes 2 cable straps, 2 white diffusers, 2 power adapters with 44 inches cable, 2 power cords with 10 ft long cable, 2 light stands with adjustable height from 20 inches to 74 inches, and 2 (552) LED Beads RGB Panel. This has 9 scene modes which I definitely enjoyed while testing it and are very beneficial for our videos. It also has the capability of changing the color temperature from 2600K to 10000K with an increment of 1000, and brightness adjustment from 0% to 100%. This kit is very bright for a 9.7 inches by 13.4 inches panel. As I mentioned earlier, the cords are long enough and this kit stands very tall. You can use NP-F550/F570/F750/F770/F950/F970 models battery pack if you need to which are very common. This has the group setting and channel setting as well. The white diffusers are just a snap to fit and this whole kit is easy to install and use. I also like the fact that the panel has the 360 degrees swivel capability with it's "U" bracket and barn doors for easy lighting placement and at the same time, protection for the 552 white, warm, RGB LED beads. The stands are made of metal and are very sturdy even when we were shooting outside with strong winds and without any sand bags, this kit remained standing. I will say, I am very happy about this. Very good addition to our video kit. This is perfect for all kinds of occasion, exactly what we needed for our video works. I have included an unboxing video for this up top in the video section showing some color temperature modes and 9 scene modes. This kit definitely rocks! Love it!

The Diffusers Could Be Better
I was in the market for another set of lights for a new studio setup; I was working on. Because I’ve used Pixel’s other lights, I decided to give these a try to see how well they would work. I have to say they work pretty great! But there is only one issue I found that I’m not the biggest fan. In the kit, you get two identical lights, which I you wanted to you could get a remote to control them remotely. You can also get the remote reasonably cheap, but since I mostly only use one setting. I don’t have a need for that. But It’s nice to see that you can if you want. You also get two light stands that are decently made. They also have a threaded tip, so you could use them for other things if you want. You get two diffusers for each light. This is the part of the light they made kind of cheap. The diffusers are just a sheet of plastic, and installing them can be a little tricky, and once installed, they don’t look good. To install the diffuser, all you have to do is line up the diffuser with the light and fold each side of the diffuser into the light. The diffuser sheets do have a round cut out, but as long as you have those cut outlined up with two screws at the top of the light, you are good to go. (The Video That I attached is how to install it.) The main issue I have with the lights is that the diffusers are cheap and they make the light cheap looking. I’ve spent less on lighting set before and got magnetic diffusers that snap on. And these light have the option to have those kinds of diffusers, but they give you cheap-looking plastic ones that fold into the light. My only concern about that is overtime. I have a feeling that the plastic sheets are going to break easily. Other then that, these lights work amazingly well. They are high-quality LED lights, the build quality is excellent, and the stands are high-quality. So everything you get in this kit is fantastic except for the diffusers. But that problem can be fixed if you want to spend even more money. I think the lights are decently priced, but I would highly recommend getting better diffusers.

Quality product, reasonably priced with professional lighting modes
I found this RGB LED lighting kit to be of high-quality, highly functional, portable and ideal for my budget and new studio setup needs. I am extremely satisfied with the control modes of this Pixel lighting which is a huge part of creative shooting - my favorite being the CCT mode for changing the color temperature and brightness adjustment. The solid construction of the RGB panels including the sturdy medal stands offering durability and reliability for the long term. Ideal for outdoors photography and videography with its portability, adjustability and 9 scene modes. It can also be powered by the battery and AC adapter with the toggle switch that is convenient. Also like that the kit comes with the complete set including the white diffusers and a carrying case hence a complete package but would have liked the diffusers to be made out of PMMA/Acrylic sheets for increased weather resistance.

The best of the cheap RGB panels!
I bought 3 different brands of panels. This was by FAR the best. HSL mode is fairly smooth, and these are WAY brighter than the others I tried. Construction is solid and the case is thin and lightweight. You get the sense that whoever designed this brand actually has worked in photo/video at some point, there are some details that make these more functional than the competition. The case it comes with is great - it's not molded foam like other cases, but it's way bigger than the 2 lights and stands so you have room for power cords / etc, which is great. The stands themselves are fine but any cheap stands I've owned the were assembled similarly (grommeted leg joints and fingers) have all failed within a year, so I expect these won't last. Ask me in a year and I'll update. I do wish they had a remote for when lights are too high to reach without a ladder, especially because they do have a wireless unit-to-unit sync built-in -- which works flawlessly and is super useful. I'd love to see a remote or bluetooth app on future models, but the sync mode is great, super intuitive, and works perfectly. On the downside: The diffusion screens are super flimsy. Other manufacturers use a slide-in solid board and that works a lot better. There are screw holes for the barn doors so you could likely make your own screw-in diffuser. I haven't found a soft box that fits the light yet, though I'm sure one of the generic models out there is close enough. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I was only going to get one panel but the price for 2 couldn't be beat. If you need an inexpensive RGB panel this size, this is the one to get.

What a versatile light for any video production
Que? All this for that price? 2 lights, tripods, and even a very good quality bag with space for more equipment !? In any case, the important thing is the product itself, and the benefits it has. And it exceeds my expectations for others. Image is light. It is not a camera, it is not a lens, it is not interviewed ... it is light. And this kit helped my job hired for interviews have that professional look and feels that I needed. Fundamentally I needed to be able to choose color temperature. The LCD screen is a great help to calibrate this, it is not a simple knob that you turn and more or less you place it by eye at a more or less desired level. Not to mention if you have 2 lights and you must calibrate them to the exact same color temperature. The LCD panel is that and much more. In addition, the system is loaded with multiple modes such as color scale, effects (I think it has 9, some more fun than others). There are several that I plan to use on my windows on Halloween, ha ha, can't wait! My son went crazy with the police car effect. And my favorite is the RGB washer. It also has a kind of memory in which the last thing you left is recorded in any way possible and then you can recall it and have several functions with faster access. The tripods have an acceptable quality and fully support this equipment. The legs have rubber tips and not plastic (clever!) And you even have the option to connect up to 2 batteries and make these lights portable! Incredible for the price. Very happy with the final result of my work and with the range of possibilities that occur to me for future use.

Affordable Professional RGB Portable Lighting Solution, On An Entry Level Budget!
Ordered this for location work and it's better than I ever thought! Just opened it up and tried it out, WOW! The lights are very bright, and the spread is excellent! The RGB aspect is also why I got this kit, because color control is important to being creative in photography. The RGB aspect really opens up what I can do with my lighting, from just warming up the light, to going crazy and using solid Blues, Yellows, Greens etc... I have millions of colors to chose from! If I have a subject with a specific color of clothing, and I want to replicate the color with my lights, all I have to to is get the RGB value of the clothing color, and voila! I have the exact color to enhance the clothing, and make the item pop! Love the built in barn doors! And the diffusers make the light nice and soft, so there aren't any harsh contrast light issues. The lights also have places for batteries, so I can use these lights in the field, regardless of needing a power source! This is really important for me, because I do a lot of shoots in areas far away from any power sources but need to have creative lighting. For that, these will be awesome! This kit also has an awesome carrying case that holds everything, so travel is a breeze! I looked at quite a few portable lights, but this one just kept going to the top of my list. Now that I have it all together, and have used it, I can say that I made the right choice!
