Adhesive strip is a huge help

I'm not comfortable drilling holes into my apartment walls, much less into my kitchen tile. So there's two options for magnetic strips: either a double-sided magnet to put onto my fridge (which I've already done), or adhesive onto a wall. This is the latter. Compared to most other options that give you drill mounts, or have a hook in the back to help you screw it in (but makes adhesive awkward because it adds clearance to the back), this strip is already fully covered in strong adhesive. This is wayyy better than the DIY I was planning on doing with putting Command strips on myself, since this perfectly covers the full surface area behind the strip. (One tip for that: stick it on, then don't hang anything for 24h as the adhesive locks in.) My strip was 12", which is smaller than average. This worked great for my specific setup, but know that you'll only be able to put 3-4 knives or scissors onto this because tools always tend to slip to an angle. I was pretty happy with it though, because that size matches the size of my kitchen wall tiles to make for a clean, fitted look.

Nice for tools as well!

I bought this magnetic strip for tools, actually, instead of the knives as shown. So it has found a home on the wall in my workshop. Regardless, the magnetic strip is plenty strong enough for either, and the sticky tape on the back secures it well. I will say I’m not the biggest fan of sticky tape because of when it is time for removal, it is a mess and usually rips off what is behind it (paint, plaster, wood, etc). But with this in mind it does a great job, especially if you don’t have plans to remove it, and it’s nice to store items with convenient access!

Recommend for your RV

I have an RV and found a cool hack that instead of using the magnet in your kitchen for knives use it in your bath for clippers, tweezers and other metal items. This bar is high quality and the magnet is very strong. The buit in adhesive is very strong to hold it up. I would highly recommend this magnet bar.

Great tool holder!

I stuck on the side of a mobile tool cart I have, and use it to hold a couple tools that I am using at the time, think 1-2 screwdrivers, and a couple box wrenches. I know where I’ve left them, and I can easily grab them without digging thru drawers. Would be great if it was like 2 inches longer, but I knew the size when I placed my order. I am very happy with the look and magnet strength. I will likely end up buying another or similar product, next time I’m in need!

Sharp cutting tool

I own this knife set and bought a set as a gift. This is probably one of the best knife set I’ve owned. Super sharp and the knives are light weight. This set only rusts if you’re not cleaning them properly. They will rust if you leave them soaking or leave them air drying. All you have to do is dry your dishes! I would recommend these knives to everyone!

Make sure you get this kind if you have tiles on your wall

Now i have added safety to my kitchen. Its easy to stick the scissors, knifes and other kitchen tools without being messy and leave them unsafe on the kitchen island. The bar is sturdy and great in quality. I have tiles on my kitchen wall and Especially with the adhesive strip, its a one minute installation and super easy. To talk about any dislikes here, there are not any.

Super easy to install and works with our 9 inch chef knife

This thing is pretty great, the adhesive back makes for a super easy installation but does mean that it probably can't be replaced somewhere else easily. That being said it has made a huge difference in the kitchen and has no issues holding up all of our knives and honing tool. Would definitely recommend.

Strong magnets! Holds knives well & stays on fridge!

Love this magnetic knife holder! I was looking for a knife holder that didn’t have to be attached to the wall, but could be magnetically attached to the side of my refrigerator. This one did not disappoint! There was another one that I almost bought that was a little smaller, more expensive, and made by the same manufacturer! I’m so glad I stumbled across this one.

Great value, excellent magnet.

This item can either be wall mounted OR be placed on a metal surface. This holds 5 of my cooking knives - a paring knife, bread knife, chef's knife, small chef's knife, and boning knife. I've never had an issue with the holder falling off the fridge as some reviews. I think if I put a lot of heavy cooking tools on this in addition to my knives, there might be an issue. However with just my cooking knives it works perfectly.
