I take care of older people and one of my clients had extremely long and thick toenails. I definitely did not feel comfortable using anything sharp to cut them. This tool was absolutely perfect! It was strong enough to get through those bad boys and thin them down.

So far, I love this manicure/pedicure kit. I initially bought this set to pedicure my 97 year old mother's toe nails. When she came here 5 years ago, I found that her toe nails had not been kept up at all. She had ingrown and thick nails, especially on her big toes that dug into her toes on both sides. I had attempted to cut them out, but this was too painful for her. When I came across this set, I decided to try it for her. Since I got it, I have been able to completely remove the ingrown nails on both big toes without causing her any pain. The ingrown nails were so bad, it took me about 30 minutes on each toe to get them out. Her toes are crooked because of arthritis or possibly lack of maintenance, so the nails on her other toes need some work to get them growing straighter. I have had to work on them a couple of different times, but I am hoping they will grow better once I get them done. I have also used this kit to manicure her finger nails, and it goes so much faster than using a file. I also worked on one of my thumb nails that had been damaged about 20 years ago by a baby Green Wing macaw that put an indent into the length of the nail. Since then, it has never grown normally, and maintained the jagged indent from the cuticle to the end of the nail. Tonight, I used one of the tools to smooth out the indented groove and then buffed the nail. For the first time in 20 years, my thumb nail looks normal. When I first saw this kit, I thought it looked similar to a Dremel tool, but opted to get this kit because it was made for manicure/pedicures. I decided that the speeds of the Dremel tool might cause damage to nails, and decided to go with this kit instead, So far I am very much impressed with what I can do with this kit. It has been beneficial for both my mother and I, and I would highly recommend it.

Someones toenails were gray and thick and neglected...they looked horrible. I bought this, and started grinding away @ his nails, took some time testing which tool to use first and so on, but after working on his left foot for 2- 2/1/2 hours, those nails looked almost perfect! gave him a couple of days rest + now we're starting on his right foot ( toenails). By the way, to actually KILL a lot of the fungus in + under your nails, use 1 cup distilled vinegar + one cup of yellow colored Listerine, in a foot pan of any kind, add water to just cover your nails, soak 4 @ least Half hour. I guarantee this doctor recommended formula will eventually kill the fungus, BUT, grinding down + thinning out the thickness of the nails allows this formula to really get @ the fungus....Good luck ..with this product you are gonna succeed in having healthier better looking toes + feet.

I mostly needed this kit for removing cuticle to make nails look neat and to be able to polish them on all their area. It is my very first time when I made manicure myself so I did everything with the lowest speed. First, I moved cuticle back with a usual cuticle pusher, then I used Pointed Grinder to push it up. Then with Round Sapphire Grinder I removed the top layer of it. It wasn’t painful at all but for the first time I decided not to make a lot of pressure and did everything very softly without removing too much. On the photos the first one is before using the kit, the second one is after removing cuticle and cutting nails with Fine Sapphire Wheel, and on the last two it is visible how polish is applied on prepared nails. I like the result even after the first time and I believe I’ll do it better and better each time.

Taking better care of my feet is my New Year's resolution for 2018. For the cost of one pedicure at a salon, I can do a better job myself anytime at home with this machine. Also, I don't have to endure embarrassment from pedicurists who don't understand my runner's feet which currently are missing 3 toenails. (Hideous, actually. Without nail polish on the skin, the toes look like slugs). My heels, which had thick callouses, are now baby-soft, and thickened toenails have been thinned out. My feet look a lot better after having used this machine three times in the week I've owned it.

The electric manicure kit appears to be doing the job of grinding back a thickened toenail. I was glad that I read the reviews about these products before I purchased anything, and can endorse the statement to only buy units that plug into the electricity supply, and do not reply on batteries. It is not easy to use on yourself, and it would be best operated by a skilled friend, if you can find one.

It’s very nice ......but ....disappointed...but my own fault 😞😞. It only runs attached to the cord ....and therefore feel some of the pictures are misleading ....and cord is short....how in the world can one sit and do a pedicure with that short cord .....

Guys, not just for women! Saying this is an amazing device would be an understatement, definitely go with the cordless version, makes twisting & turning to get various angles a breeze plus using it outside leaves all the nail dust for nature to deal with. Wonderful assortment of attachments to complete any manicure, pedicure or remove calluses etc... Takes a bit of experimentation to determine which attachment to use at what speed but don’t be intimidated, it’s powerful but not to the point you’ll accidentally remove skin or burn yourself (again, determine the correct attachment and speed for what you need done, just use common sense, it’s not a toy). A plug in version would probably be more powerful but then you have the dang cord to deal with. This unit charges fast and keeps its charge, I can do 10 fingernails and 10 toenails on one charge. Simply wipe the unit off with a cloth then clean the attachment/s used with isopropyl alcohol on a q-tip to disinfect. Helpful hint: If two are going to use it, just buy a separate set of attachments from the company (why doesn’t amazon offer this attachment set?) so there is no cross contamination of each others germs etc... especially if used on toenails. Almost forgot to mention, the MP 64 model (cordless) comes with a free 3 year warranty! :)

Worth the purchase price. The size fits nicely in your hand, and light. Cordless makes it easy to maneuver and portable; nice not to have to worry about plugs and cords. The buttons are simple, and the speed settings allows just enough rotations to remove layers without being too fast as to allow heat buildup on the skin. The light is also helpful; you can see its working. I didn't realize it, but also comes with a dust cover to prevent debris from becoming airborne. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Wish I bought one long ago when I used to use a rotary tool from my toolbox!

I bought this manicure and pedicure kit especially for toe nails that are too thick due to former damage. For years my thick nails have prevented me from wearing sandals without embarrassment. After using the device just once, my toenails are now flattened and so when polish is put on them, they look normal. I am thrilled to have this device with all the different tips. I did not realize it has a light as well which helps me to see more clearly. The device is lightweight, quiet, and stable. I like that I could change the speed. I am so grateful it is as good as it says.
