Replacement Coil For 2004 BMW 320

One of our neighbors got a 2004 BMW 320 for free. It needed a little work and since my husband was a mechanic for many years they struck up a deal. In doing the work hubby discovered that one of the ignition coils was bad. It wasn't accelerating properly and it was misfiring. He gave me the information to order and after calling around locally, I decided to look on Amazon and found one. I chose this one because it fit the vehicle and comes with a 2 year or 24 thousand mile warranty. I felt like that was a great deal for a car that is 16 years old. In searching for the coil, I learned why it was important (not that I didn't think it was, but I just wasn't really sure of the purpose). Not only does it correct the misfiring and acceleration issues, it improves your gas mileage, performance, and driveability. All I know is that was the last thing my husband changed on that car and now it runs like a dream.

Quality is very good

Had one cylinder misfire on the OBD. Car had no power and was shaking. Bought this product. It is great that you can only buy one here. Installed these and it feels much better right after! it seems to have more pep. I am planning to order more and replaced all 6 along with all 6 plugs. The replacement was super easy. Once you know how to do it, you get do it pretty quickly. Pop the hood, loose six screws to remove the plastic engine cover. Pull the connector off, pull the failed coil out; push a new one in; reconnect. Screw the cover back on. Close the hood and done. Car runs like new. Shouldn’t have trouble for a while. Great deal. I think the price is pretty reasonable as well!

Coil packs arrived right on time. Changed one coil pack at a time, then started engine after each individual installation to be sure all packs fired properly. All went smoothly with no reinstalling necessary. Had to make two separate trips to New Orleans and mpg went up from 29.8 on previous trips to 31.9 with new coil packs. Trip was approximately 110 miles each way, so a total of over 400 miles. I am very happy with cars performance and would highly recommend these packs due to price, performance, and ease of installation.
