I had a similar one for the iPad Air 3 for work but purchased this one for my own iPad Air 3. The one thing I really wanted was the integrated track pad and it works awesome. My concern was the color and texture of the cover as I was concerned about dirt. Despite my concerns, it has stayed clean as it is almost a plastic fiber. It's also easier to hold on to. I had no issues with setup. Also, I was originally concerned that the rubber retention was lightweight so I went to a local store to check it out first. It's quite sturdy and reminds me of the fit for my UAG iPhone case but not quite as tight. Only complaint is that the hinge on the back is underneath the 'fabric' which the fabric is warping a bit with use. It's localized to the hinge area and fairly minor but I would change this one item. Overall, super happy with it.

I love this!

Seems very well made. I like the texture of the case and I think that it will be easy to clean and maintain. The keyboard has a nice feel to it and is easy to type on. The magnet that connects the keyboard to the ipad case seems strong enough to quickly connect and yet easy enough to separate. I do not find the overall thickness to be objectionable. The protection that this case seems to give to the ipad appears good. The edges of the ipad are covered. Also, I have the apple pencil which fits snugly into the loop on the top of the case. Would definitely recommend!

Better than the Apple one at a lower cost.

The touchpad is great. The "sheerness, thickness and Bluetooth" ratings are not descriptive of the unit and should be ignored. Just plug and play; it is so easy. The attachment is magnetic with no skill needed. The unit uses power from the iPad so no separate power is needed. I said 5 stars because this is a great unit. The one thing that might put some off is the weight. It is a little heavier than most would expect but it is also better protection because of its solid build. I would highly recommend this case/keyboard/trackpad.

Relatively important keys now work.

Update: The keyboard keys: \ | ' & > type now; they didn't when first reviewed. I had latest firmware from the app, keyboard was clean, etc., etc. Logitech has generically bad support until you create an account. Then they have very specific solutions available. Other reviews said to restart the iPad, etc. as did Logitech's support. That didn't work, as I had done so already. But restart multiple times? Magic. That said, the Combo Touch is awesome. Track pad speed feels slightly slow, but that seems like something to get used to.

Awesome keyboard with a trackpad. We have not had any issues using it yet. A great purchase for your iPad.

Great case, keyboard and touchpad

I was truly amazed by this case. The keyboard is very user friendly. I thought it would be hard to navigate but is spaced very similar to a full-size keyboard. The touchpad is very responsive and easy to use. The case is very durable and strong.

The best keyboard for the Ipad Air gen3

So good that I often forget I'm on an iPad and think I am on my MacBook Air

For starters, I purchased this keyboard directly from Logitech because it was not yet available on Amazon, much as I would have preferred to purchase it through Amazon (easier return if problems arise). If there's a user manual somewhere, I never found it. So, I had to learn a few things the hard way. But, I then found the keyboard guide on the Logitech site and found out what the key with the lock icon does. It didn't do what it was supposed to do the first few times I tried it, but now it works the way that it should. The ' | < > keys work properly for me, so that is not an issue. What was an issue was the presence of a Russian (Cyrillic) keyboard alternative. Whenever I pressed the caps lock key, the iPad was switched to Russian. Finally, I had to remove the Russian keyboard from the iPad to make the Logitech keyboard work properly. Not a huge loss because I very rarely type a word or two in Russian. But something that I suggest that Logitech should pursue. I haven't used the Combo Touch long enough to be aware of battery drain, but early on it doesn't appear to be excessive. The cover fabric is pleasant and appears to be very sturdy. I would expect it to hold up over time. It also lends a professional look to the iPad Air. The "sharp" edge around the case never bothered me. Actually, it helped me to open the case. My guess is that the edge results from heat-sealing the case's material. The bottom line for me: this is a fine instrument that I recommend for purchase.

Better than the Magic Keyboard! 10/10 Buy!

It feels like Apple made this. The grey color and design make this look cheap on the online store photos but in person it feels premium. I prefer this keyboard over my MacBook Pro keyboard and they key travel is much better. The glass trackpad is the perfect size and makes you wonder why they made the MacBook trackpads so big. With everything attached this makes the iPad feel exactly like a 11 inch MacBook from back in the day. Everything is so much easier and faster to do with mouse support it completely changes the way you use your iPad. It also has a function key row which the Magic Keyboard will never have. With the pencil attached and carrying the case around it almost feels like a big journal. This should be a mandatory bundle for any school or work.
