While debating on buying either this or the apple keyboard I was hesitant to get this. I finally convinced myself that if I didn’t like it I could always return it and spend the extra money for the apple brand keyboard. I did some research and quickly realized that this case has more features than the apple case. You get the awesome bumper case that holds the iPad into this keyboard and provides it that extra protection that apples keyboard doesn’t offer. With that added protection comes the top notch button placement on the case to turn the volume up and down as well as the power. The buttons are clicky and honestly just perfect. The keyboard has a very nice roping experience and the backlighting on the keyboard is just amazing. This is the case apple should have released. Yet it takes a 3rd party company to release such a quality product. I would recommend this product to anyone who is trying to figure out which case to get. This thing is sturdy, the keyboard is amazing and overall this is just the best product for your money. It is cheaper than the apple keyboard and feature packed. You can not go wrong with this case at all.

For me this is a great product. I also have the apple keyboard and like the logitech more. The keyboard feels better, the fact that the keys have light behind them is a nice addition. A note on durability/strength; we were at a wrestling tournament and i had set my iPad on the bleachers, my daughter didn’t see it when going up to sit down and put her full weight (100+lbs) in the middle of the case. I opened it immediately thinking it was going to be cracked or the screen to be black or something broken but it was fine. The case did its job, the only thing that had any mark on it was the outside cover where she had turned her foot a little. It’s a tough case and works great. Highly recommend!

Amazing solid construction. This truly makes the iPad Pro feel like a laptop... just better. In love with the design, key feel, shortcuts, backlighting, everything. The only thing I can see some not liking is the weight. For me, it isn’t the slightest issue, but if you are going for ultra slim light weight, you might not be happy in that category. In my opinion though, this is the keyboard that Apple should have made.

I was a bit hesitant to spend $130 on a keyboard case, but so far, it has been worth every penny! Unlike the official Apple keyboard-folio, this one actually covers the entire iPad pretty well, with thick rubber pieces around the corners to protect it from bumps and drops too. It's also got magnets built in, not just for auto-locking the iPad when you close it up, but for holding the iPad in the upright angled position too. Most other cases just use a small indent or divot, but the magnets here give a much stronger grip. The case itself is pretty lightweight too, doesn't make the iPad super bulky like some other all-around cases do. The material is nice and smooth, feels fine to hold or carry. The keyboard is great; it's got a good amount of tactile feedback without being TOO clicky, and the backlight is a nice touch. Furthermore, the keyboard only activates when the iPad snaps into place with the magnets, which is a really nice feature; prevents accidental key presses or accidentally turning on the keyboard and wasting battery. Another neat feature is that it charges with a USB-C cable, so you can use your iPad's charging cable with it. No having to lug around two different charging cables. Logitech claims the battery lasts for 3 months anyway, so you shouldn't need to charge it very often unless you're using it a whole ton. Overall, just an absolutely wonderful keyboard case for the 3rd gen iPad Pro. The previous keyboard case from Logitech that I tried, the one for the iPad Air 2, was really awful, but it's nice to see they've improved since then.

I did some research to find which keyboard was most recommended for the iPad Pro 3. I would have loved the new keyboard from Apple, but not for $350. Logitech got the highest ratings in several articles I read so for a little over $100 I thought I would give it a try. Let me say- what a GREAT product! I read one of the reviews on Amazon and the person mentioned how nice the box was the keyboard came in, and I thought that was not really important. But, when I saw the box and the quality and design of just the box, I had high hopes for the keyboard. The keyboard is very high quality, was a bit challenging to get the iPad into it but it is good to have a really tight fit, so no worries about my expensive iPad falling out of the case. The magnet holds the iPad in place and is very secure when typing. The keys are just AMAZING! Very smooth and no noisy typing sounds! Backlighting is also very nice. I really like that the area to charge the Apple pencil is open so there is a direct connection to the pencil and iPad. When you close the case the flap securely holds the pencil in place, so no worries about it falling out. And finally, this case did not seem that heavy to me! I had a case from another company that was very heavy and had great reviews. I actually gave it a good review, but now I am not happy with the other one because the keyboard would just unsync quite often, which was super annoying to have to turn it on and off. This Logitech one does not seem to have that problem, and hope it doesn't. I just got it, so time will tell. But, so far, I am VERY happy I made the purchase and was looking at some cheaper ones but this one seems like it will be my winner.

Worth the buy. I have used a no-brand name detachable keyboard case and the IVSO case with keyboard for my 12.9” iPad Pro (2018 version) and both has not satisfied me. I like the compact feel and it’s “together-ness” as opposed to having to detach parts. The backlight keys really comes in handy! The overall iPad protection is also great!

Package arrived early and undamaged. This is my 2nd one. I had one on my old ipad pro gen 1 and i liked a lot. Although smaller since my new gen 3 ipad pro is smaller as well and it is not leather as the older one was it is still very nice. Only two changes I’d like to see. 1. Make a leather version. 2. Use the ipad direct connect instead of blue tooth. Do that and I’ll buy that one!!!

I did a lot of research when searching for a case for my new iPad Pro 12.9. I came across this case (among others like the Apple Magic Keyboard, the Brydge keyboard case, and the Apple keyboard case), and after reading many reviews and watching YouTube videos on them I decided on this one. I think that the Apple Magic keyboard is a fantastic case based on reviews and it's native Apple, so you know it's going to work well, but it's just too pricey. Even with this going to be a laptop replacement. The Brydge case was just too flimsy? I guess is the best word I can come up with. I didn't care for how it attached to the iPad, but the price was also a bit high still. Then comes this case. It's protective, it's strong, it pairs easily with the iPad, and it's a perfect case for me. I love that it has it's own battery and doesn't utilize the iPad's (like the MK does). It's also USB-C though, so no need to carry two separate charging cables for it and the iPad. I also don't miss that it doesn't have a track pad. I hate track pads, and would rather have a standalone mouse anyways. I purchased the Logitech M585 multi-device mouse to go with it and it's fantastic as well. If this were a mouse review I'd go into more details on it, but look it up if you're looking for a great mouse! Now, back to the keyboard case from Logitech, it's the perfect combination of protection, weight, and utility. It just works and does so perfectly. The keys all feel very nice (maybe nicer than my keyboard on my PC that I'm typing this review on right now). Bottom line, quit looking at other cases, save your money, and buy this one!

I like my Logitech Slim Folio for multiple reasons. Most important to me is that it allows me to type while using my iPad in my lap. The keyboard itself works well. It meets my personal use needs. It makes me feel like I’m typing on a regular keyboard. I use all 10 fingers to type. I do not do as well on the iPad itself. I need a keyboard to make me happy. I would purchase this again. In fact I recommended it to a friend. She bought one on Amazon and loves it. Pros: Strong magnet that holds my iPad upright without sliding around. It stays put! Stays charged for weeks Uniform touch on the keys. They all work well. Cons: Lack of color choices Did not come with a charging cord - The keyboard uses the USB-C connector type that my iPad uses so no problem with charging No number keypad - Of course there really isn’t room for one. I use like using one.

Logi Case Review Having finally updated by iPad Pro (1st Gen) recently, I was trying to decide on a case+keyboard combo to use. I had used the previous version of Logi’s case+keyboard combo for the past 5 years and love it. Since this previous model worked great up until the end (some keys stopped functioning) I decided to try Logi’s newest version for the most current iPad Pro. Also, after researching the Apple Magic Keyboard that I originally wanted, I found it lacks the various function keys that Logi offers and it costs about three times as much! Having had a bad experience with Apple’s keyboard and case offered for the Gen1 iPad Pro, I decided it was not worth the risk to waste the added money on the Magic Keyboard in case it did not live up to my needs and expectations as the Logi’s have. After several weeks of using the new case+keyboard combo, here is what I found. Pro’s * The outer case covering has a nice satin finish that is easy to grip and is easy to clean, does not attract or hold hair & dirt like previous version * Corners and edges that hold the iPad are made from a semi flexible material, previous version used hard plastic that would crack or break * Keyboard is backlit like previous version (not found on competitions products) * Has nice magnetic closure loop that also doubles as pencil holder * When putting into keyboard mode, case locks in nicely * Keyboard has a nice feel like a good keyboard should * Found that the battery is good for about 1-2 weeks on full charge if you are heavy user like I am Con’s * Logi should provide an app to allow adjustment of how long backlighting of keys stays on, find that it quickly darkens within seconds after you stop typing which is a pain when working in the dark. An alternative would be to use glow paint in the keys so they are easy to read until the light comes on. * Still a little heavy in weight, but overall much better than lugging a laptop around when flying Overall, I am highly satisfied with the new Logi case+keyboard for the iPad Pro and look forward to putting it to work like my previous one. Oh, and if you find sellers that only list Gen3 version, don’t worry it will fit the Gen4 models. I took this chance when the item listed as a Gen3/Gen4 was sold out and not available and only showed a Gen3 option.
