I bought this for my kids room. At first I was upset upon taking it out the box because when I seen the power cord it reminded me of the power cords for boom boxes back in the 90's. To top that I could not find an insert for that plug. I was so frustrated I started to google where to find the plug in on the tv itself. My husband goes.. Whats wrong.. I said there is no plug in for the cord.. He sits down in front of the tv and I kid you not within 2 seconds he found the dam insert. Super calm n collected.. I had spent 15 minutes slowly looking at every part of the flippin tv. An he just finds it instantly. I was relieved and grateful If he hadn't been home I don't think that tv would be working right now. I would of put it back in the box! Super mad. Lbs. The tv is great. Beautiful picture great sound easy setup. The kids love it. Just note.. The plug in for the power cord is on your left of the tv, nestled in that box area.. The actual insert is inside of that at the top. If your anything like me.. And aren't used to looking that hard for a plug in.. You will be happy to know that ahead of time. 😊

Now, sure.. there will be some oddly enraged people who will find something not perfect with this TV, but what seems to happen is that none of them actually paid any attention to how much they paid. 1. There is hardly ever a reason to rate any TV 0/1 stars if you paid $100 for it and it has a 32" color- (hell, LED!) screen, FireTV, a remote, WiFi, a frame and stand.... I could go on.. but I'll stop there. It wouldn't even matter if the TV doesn't turn on, and you had to return it to get a replacement, still at least 3 stars. 2. The TV is actually really nice!. After I switched the display settings to Movie and turned off all the edge enhancement and noise reduction shenanigans, the picture is wonderfully crisp (again.. keeping in mind that I paid $100, and it has only 720P resolution.. as stated in the description). 3. I absolutely LOVE the menu and "live pause" feature! It's way better than my $2K+ Samsung TV. Responsive, better remote, I can pause live TV! (OTA- Digital Antenna- Amazing reception) 4. Setup was a breeze, no problems.. zip.. nada. 5. It has three HDMI ports (+1 compared to my main TV) 6. It has a USB port that can power my amplified OTA Digital Antenna, how convenient is that? 7. It has a Optical Audio Out, which perfectly connected to my unused Sony soundbar, yay!.. yes, the out of the box sound, rather expectantly, sucks balls. 8. I had no issues at all to cast YouTube from my phone directly to the TV, super smooth, no stuttering or connectivity issues. Yeah.. so I love this TV already, which fits my personality.. as it was F'N $99 !!! C'mon man. Ridiculous. The FireTV stick alone costs half as much if I buy it by itself.

So far this tv is AWESOME! I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but so far my tv is working perfectly! Idk what that other person was talking about when they said you can't link it to an echo dot because I had mine linked up in about 2.5 seconds. I used my https://alexa.amazon.com to link them it wasn't hard AT ALL. Now my echo dot controls my tv and I don't have to do hardly anything lol. I was worried about the screen being broken as some people said theirs was but mine is 100% fine. The colors POP on this thing <3 and I love that it's sold by Best Buy because we have one within 20 minutes of here so if I do have any issues I will just take it up there and see if they can fix it. The sound is great, the picture is great, it's easy to use, and I love that I can control it with my echo dot. This was my birthday present this year and I'm SUPER happy with it! Will update if anything changes as I saw one review said theirs stopped working after 2 days, but I hope that's not the case. The only thing so far is the legs on mine are wobbly but I put them on there myself and I was afraid to screw them on too tightly so it's probably my bad, and the thing where the cable screws on, I couldn't get my digital antenna screwed on to it, most of those ports or whatever stick straight out but all these are UP so kinda hard to plug stuff in like the power cord and the cable but all in all a GREAT tv!

I have children. They are a ton of work. So from time-to-time I like to let them watch copious amounts of television so I can work or enjoy the solitude of going tinkle alone. But I digress... back to the TV. Yes, the TV was a solid purchase. I bought two for two of my kiddo’s rooms and now I want one in my room. Maybe I’m old and haven’t bought a new TV in too long, but the first thing I noticed was how lite they are. Like, launch the Box in the air when you pick it up, lite. Picture quality is great. Stupid easy to set up. Only downside is the sound isn’t surround sound kinda joy, but c’mon - it’s a tv under $200. You’re walking away with a solid deal here. Would I want this to be my main viewing source for our entire home? Probably not. Would I shell out $200 to tinkle in private while my children watch copious amounts of television? You bet your Fire Stick I would.

One thing I hate about Amazon reviews is that people give bad ratings for shipping problems, which has nothing to do with the TV. Skip those and don’t consider them when deciding to buy one. These are delicate TVs being shipped. Things happen. Know what you are buying. Be familiar with how Amazon Fire Sticks, etc., work. If you like Fire Stick, Fire TV, etc., you will love this TV. It’s 720p, not 1080p, but the picture is vibrant especially at a $99.99 price point. This TV works like a Firestick. Very easy to download your favorite apps, connects to WiFi with ease, and gives the exact same feel as the Firestick. If you don’t like the Firestick, you won’t like this TV. It’s simple. Know what you are buying. It’s your fault if you don’t like Firestick and you buy it anyway. If you have never used a Firestick, find a relative for friend who has one and give it a spin. You will probably like it. I’d say the only issue I could see is using the TV with cable or over the air programming. If you insist on number buttons to get from channel to channel very quickly, well, that may frustrate you. I’m fine with scrolling but you may not be. I haven’t used it in this manner except through the Plex media app (free download to the TV), which works fine and is quicker. As a side note, if you have a Plex media server, you can play all media (recorded TV, live TV movies, etc.) on the app on your TV without a second antenna. In a nutshell, if you like Amazon Firestick, buy the TV. If you’ve never used it, try to find someone and give it a test drive. If you don’t like Firesticks, don’t buy it. I’ve had it one day and really like mine.

Great TV, great UI, great remote, great sound! My parents are paying way too much for cable, and only watch a handful of channels, so I was looking for a way that they could switch to a TV streaming service like Sling, PS Vue, etc. The catch is, my Dad is 88, and has never navigated an EPG (electronic program guide). He either punches in the channel number, or more often, channel surfs. In researching possible solutions, I purchased and tried out numerous devices and services. Harmony Home Hub w/remote, Caavo Control Center, Fire TV Cube w/voice/power/volume remote, Roku, FireTV Recast, other (non-Fire) smart TV's, and all the live TV services except Philo. Every different configuration had it's pluses and minuses, but they all were too complicated to navigate for Dad. First off, the only service out of the ones I tried (Hulu Live, YouTube TV, Sling, Fubo, DirecTV Now, PS Vue) that you can channel surf on is DirecTV Now, but it doesn't work on your favorite channels list, you have to click through all the channels, and it can be quite slow at times. So, aside from the channel surfing, the main barrier was navigating to and within the apps. Again, just too complicated for Dad at 88+. I was about to give up my quest, and resign myself to Dad being stuck with cable TV, when I discovered that one service, PS Vue, integrated into the FireTV's live channel guide. That gave me hope, but there was still a hitch; once you clicked on a show (which launched PS Vue) there was no way to return to the FireTV channel guide without exiting the app. Plus, even staying in the app, it was always multiple clicks of multiple buttons to get from the show you were watching to their channel guide (which is one of the worst I've tried, but that's another story). The FireTv Cube's remote was an improvement on the older (non-volume/-power) remotes, and eliminated another problem; multiple remotes. It wasn't until I finally got the Insignia FireTV edition smart TV that it all came together. The two missing pieces of the puzzle were the Insignia's remote, and it's OTA tuner integration. The remote's dedicated channel guide button is brilliant, as it will take you to the guide no matter where you are, or in Dad's case, no matter what other buttons you accidentally clicked. That's huge, because it allows Dad to get from his show to the channel guide in one click. Finally, when you hook up an antenna and scan for channels, those channels show up in the same channel guide as the PS Vue channels! Now Dad can get PBS and other local channels that were included in his cable package, but don't come with any of the streaming services, and all integrated in one guide with one-click access. This ticked all the boxes; easy navigation, one remote, and all the channels Dad watches. Full disclosure, I also got my folks a FireTV Recast because Mom (who's only in her 70's and better with technology stuff) will probably use the DVR functionality, and because with the FireTV edition TV, all you need is a power outlet. That got rid of a lot of cord and wall-wart clutter around Dad's TV. An unexpected bonus! At $120, this was a steal, but even at regular price it's a great value!

I’m very familiar with Amazon Prime Video so this TV’s menus were not difficult to navigate. I have it mounted on the wall with an inexpensive 100x100 vesa mount. I have a computer connected to it and the computer looks great! I also have my Apple 4K TV hooked up to it and that’s where this TV gets impressive! I have the 32ā€ 720p version for my bedroom and with Apple 4K TV attached there is hardly a difference in the quality of picture between my very expensive high end living room TV and this inexpensive TV! I believe the processor used may very well be comparable to a 4K processor. I was able to tweak the settings in the Apple TV to 1280x1080HDR and the picture is stunning. I did have to make the Apple TV display the UI in dark mode for easier viewing. So far I am very pleased with this TV! I did connect the TV to both WI-FI and Ethernet and the TV performance was negligible but fast either way. Now for the bugs I have with it... you cannot get into a user menu to tweak color brightness etc... but the techs seem to have done a great job of getting the settings right for now. Onto the rear plugs for the components and power and Ethernet that are spread out and on opposite sides of the TV so I have cords hanging everywhere down my wall, you wouldn’t care if it was sitting on a table but I can tell you cord management will be interesting especially with 3 hdmi cords the Ethernet cable and the power cord. That’s my only complaint and it’s minor when you consider the price paid for it and the Quality of the tv and picture. I give five stamps of approval for this fine extra bedroom tv! I really like the collaboration between Amazon and Best Buy! I would recommend this TV to friends and family!

I read lots of the comments and reviews before I purchased this 32ā€ TV. Knowing Best Buy’s I bought it here on Black Friday because it was less expensive with the additional purchase of the Echo Dot. TV Sent by UPS. I read some of the horror stories about being received with broken screens or opened repurchased TV’s. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived several days earlier than guarantied along with the Echo Dot (it sent by USPS) and unopened and unbroken and is new. I unpacked it and read somewhat that instructions ā€˜I am a man for goodness sake’. I turned it on and went through several updates. Then my accounts/passwords for Amazon, Netflix and YouTube TV. Several more longer updates but the picture is very nice and bright and very clear. I have an older Vizio which has become darker as it’s aged. The factory sound is very trebly but I quickly located and adjusted the EQ. I then followed the Echo Dot’s info and set it to control the new Insigina which is great but after another update Alexa recognized several other TV’s/gear. I’m extremely happy with the purchase and as long as it continues to provide great service I’ll purchase a 24ā€ for my kitchen. The Smart features and the great final price ($88.52) was why I bought it. Glad I did now. The ā€œ24 is the same price which is a great price for the quality for either.

I am so happy with this television. First, it arrived super fast, days before expected. Second, it was easy to set up and came with clear instructions. Third, it has a very easy to use menu. All my choices of cable, NetFlix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime are right there before my eyes when I turn it on and with a couple clicks of the remote, I am quickly enjoying my programs. Fourth, the picture is clear, the colors are vivid and the volume control has a great range. Something the television it replaced did not have. Fifth, the price was fantastic. $99 for this television is a steal. I added it to my cart at Christmas time but decided to wait and spend the money on others. The price has changed a few times since then, always higher, but when I saw the alert that there were changes in my cart and I saw it was this tv at this great price, I quickly proceeded to order. My daughter was so impressed she order one for herself. My only suggestion would be to make the buttons on the remote programmable. As a side note, I did order the service plan from Square Trade and today, a week after purchase it still has not arrived.

OK, I have to admit that I normally don't watch television. When my TV died a couple of months ago I therefore barely noticed its absence. Oh, sure, I'd sometimes watch the occasional football or baseball game, as well as the occasional movie, but that was more or less it. I knew a little about "Smart Televisions," and had even heard of the Fire Stick, but I knew very little and had zero experience with one. In my mind, an Amazon Fire TV was nothing more than a big Android tablet. And I already have a big Android tablet. I eventually got around to replacing my broken television and just looked for the most inexpensive video monitor I could find easily (and from a reputable retailer like Amazon). So I found this 32" television on sale and bought it. I was blown away by the Fire TV straight out of the box, even before hooking into my home network. The picture is clear, sharp and detailed, the sound is terrific, and the TV comes pre-loaded with a ton of useful and fun apps. But this thing really shines when you connect it to your home network. The amount of content for this service is staggering, and even nearly all of the free apps from the Amazon App Store are excellent. I should also mention that the user interface is quite good and intuitive, and the remote is generally quite responsive and easy to use. My only gripe with the product is that onboard storage is limited to 5GB. For most users, that's probably waaaaaaay more than enough, but not for me. Luckily, Amazon provides a service to expand storage via an USB port. In my particular case, I hooked up an external USB hub and plugged a USB flash drive into the hub, which gave me an additional 32GB of RAM. (I should point out that the Fire TV can only recognize the FIRST drive plugged into the television, so you apparently can't expand RAM further by adding additional USB drives. I should also mention that you will have the best experience with a FAST USB drive.) That minor quibble aside, I give this product an A+. If you're on the fence about buying one, jump now.
