I was so tired of waiting around for the other brush like this by Felicia Leatherwood to become available. I found this and its perfect. If you have super coily 4c african american hair, this is the detangle brush for you.

I bought this after watching a YouTube video. I was a little skeptical but curious enough to buy it anyway. This sounded like nothing short of a miracle product. Wash day is not an event that I usually look forward to. Denman brushes, wide-tooth combs, you name it, I've been tortured by it. OH MY GOD!! IT REALLY WORKS!! The instructions are really simple. Brush your hair while holding the brush in a vertical position. After you've finished bushing all of your hair, brush again while holding the brush in a horizontal position. The knots came out with EASE. Strands of hair that were THINKING about forming knots decided to straighten up and fly right. I kept brushing parts that I had already done because I was in disbelief. Detangling took less than ten minutes. Quite a bit of hair came out, but I've been wearing braids for the last four weeks so that's expected. It was less painful than other brushes too. Mine came with a little attachment, but I don't know what it's for. If you have natural hair and have dreaded wash day for too long, get this brush. You will love it.

I have very kinky type 4b/4c natural hair! This brush is very gentle and glides through my hair like a breeze! I recommend this brush to anyone who cannot find the Felicia leatherwood detangling brush!

This product is amazing! I learned about it after extensively scouring the web for the best detangling comb. After one use, I’m convinced it may be the most transformational element in the detangling process for my and my daughters’ hair. After adding a conditioner and gently finger detangling, I used this product on my two-year old who had fallen asleep during the washing process— she didn’t even budge, this comb literally slid through her hair with minimal breakage ( very scant); she slept unbothered. My 11-year old didn’t even realize I was comb detangling her hair when it was her turn until she heard me singing the product’ praise. It is so important to have a product like this on the market for those with 4c hair looking to maximize the length and strength of our hair; the detangling process often feels like a hindrance to this goal. Recommending this product to everyone!

If I had known how amazing this brush would be, I would have taken before and after pictures. Suffice it to say that I usually lose around 10 times the amount of hair you see in these pictures when I detangle my hair. I have tried a few different items, including a detangling wide tooth comb and a brush I bought from a salon. I just thought that losing a lot of hair would be a fact of life for my natural, coily hair. I don't know whether I'm a 4b or 4c or whatever. but I do know it wraps around itself every time I wash it. This brush, with just conditioner, detangled my hair incredibly easily and sped up my wash time considerably. I recommend this brush to anyone with curly hair. Don't wait like I did - last wash I was losing clusters of hair and wish I would have bought this brush a lot sooner.

I used this brush to detangle my thick afro textured hair, 4b. i found it easy to use with a good conditioner that has slip. I like that it is plastic but doesn't feel cheap. ordered this on a whim cuz I really wanted to find a good detangling brush, so far Im rally glad that I did! easy to clean and I didn't feel my hair ripping. I finger dtengle before I used to brush, but I normally do that with any detangling tool. It gave my hair very good definition. would reccommend

so far I like the brush. I tried it on my hair while it was dry and it worked will. of course it was a small section. did not get but a very few hairs in it. My hair is 4b and the pattern is s shaped, update. I have used it while my hair was wet and dry. I must say, there is considerable less breakage and hair in the brush. Using it wet for wash and go is so much quicker. I just apply the curl cream while hair is wet, brush thru and my curls pop. what would normally take 30 40 minutes now takes 15 min and I'm done. LOVE THIS BRUSH

The best detangling brush...ever! I detangled my whole head in less than 5 minutes. I have fine 4a/4b low density low porosity hair and this brush slid through like a hot knife in butter. Do follow the instructions on the box and brush your hair, in sections, holding the brush vertically before holding it horizontally. Worked great on my daughters thicker more dense hair as well. This is a game changer. They made a tool that seems to mimic finger detangling without the time and effort. I normally have twice as much hair than what is pictured after detangling. Buy it!!!

This brush is waaaaay better than the Tangle Teaser. I don’t know who created this brush but thanks!!! I have natural 4B hair. I’ve used this brush on my dry and wet hair and it really works excellently. It takes up too much space in my hair accessory box but whatever. It’s my good friend! Gives kinky haired girls more confidence with detangling and general upkeep of our hair. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on that Tangle Teaser!

So far, I am LOVING this brush. I have very coily 4b/c hair and used this to detangle for my twist out. Remember to start with it vertical and when you are able to pass it through at that angle, THEN flip it horizontally. Starting with it horizontal may cause unnecessary pulling. My hair ended up smooth and detangled with normal shedding.
