This is my first time owning a phone filming stabilizer. So I can’t compare it with any other ones. But I am glad that i brought this. THE QUALITY The device is well made. Good quality material. Nothing flimsy. And it feels good on hands. THE FEATURES There are buttons on the device so you have control of : -you can easily flip your phone by clicking a button on this device. - you turn the angle of the camera. - you can also zoom in with it. - take pictures and film recording REMOTE CONTROL and A TRIPOD There is a remote control comes with it. Which is attached on one leg of the Tripod. If you want to use it, simply take it out. So if you don’t need it, it will be stay on there. It is nice that it helps me to keep everything together. SET UP Set up was easy after I download their app. They have clear instructions video in the app. I start filming vlog with my phone a month ago. But I realized I wasted my time filming it because my video was too shaky. it gave me headache just by watching it. So I decided to give this stabilizer a try. I am glad that I did! Recording Videos Never Looked So Good!

I have never been a fan of recording videos with my cell phone due to being unsteady, resulting shakey videos. Finally, I decided to purchase the isteady x gimbal and now I ask myself why I didn’t get it earlier. It’s lightweight and holds well. The set-up is relatively easy as long as you follow these instructions: 1. Download the “Hohem Pro” app, but do not register yet. 2. Unlock the gimbal’s 3-axes 3. Mount the phone in the phone holder. 4. Press down the gimbal’s on/off button and a Bluetooth green light will blink and open the app (fyi, press the same button if you want a vertical screenview for easier registration set-up.) 5. Register your cell phone, not your e-mail (won’t work). 6. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth & Location. 7. If it doesn’t connect automatically, go to the app’s “Scan Gimbal BT” to connect. For testing the gimbal, I used my Samsung S8 in different environments -- steep hills and flat surfaces -- and it did a great job of steadying the video while I walked at a good pace. Overall, I am really pleased with this stabilizer.

The perfect gimbal for one the go videos and pictures!

I wanted to start doing some vlogging, but didn't want to go full in and invest hundreds of dollars into something I haven't started! This product is already impressing me. This gimbal is light-weight, comes with a tri-pod set up, and the app that comes with it is full of free tutorials to help you learn all the features that come with it. I've included picture of my hand and the gimbal to show size, and a shot a brief video to show how smooth the gimbal makes videos! I'm looking forward to using this in the coming weeks!

Impressive stability

I compared with my dji gimbal since that is the best rated gimbal on the market, but almost double the price. The package includes all the accessories needed, including an extended triage and a cloth bag, which is convenient. The size is smaller than dji, so it's easier to carry with smaller space. The 3 axis stability is pretty good, it's close to dji. So if you're looking for that, this should be good enough. The face tracking isn't working very well, but it could be the software issue, there's also limitations outside the 3 axis, overall very good for it's value especially if it's on sale.

Always wanted one of these!

Absolutely amazing! Took a trip to Ithaca, New York and got some amazing clips of our hike. One advice I’d give is when you’re setting up the Bluetooth with your phone, make sure all of your rotation locks are unlocked. I was having trouble connecting it to my phone then found out that it was because one of my rotation was locked. It’s very easy to used once you download the app. Highly recommend getting if you’re looking into shooting great videos.

Impressive

The box contains user manual, gimbal itself, which is about palm size, mini tripod which can be mounted on the gimbal and it's sturdy. It also comes with USB charging cable of type c, wristband which can be put on gimbal for extra security. Additionally box contains carrying pouch which will help gimbal to prevent scratches in the bag. This gimbal is small, lightweight and affordable. It's comfortable to hold and quality is good. Stabilization is pretty good, even while brisk walking. Battery life is also good. Easily it can hold bigger phones. I test this gimbal with Samsung Note 9 and Samsung S8. Gimbal holds the phone tightly and securely. The feature I like the most is changing into landscape to portrait mode with one button click. For more features one need to download hohem pro app. App have various tutorials and cool features. It also has a selfie mode with face tracking. I really like this gimbal.

My first gimbal

I've always wanted one and finally got it for my blogging. It's very easy to use though I did have issues syncing it yo my phone. Also this does not hold my note10+ very well, constantly gets stuck since my phone seems to be to large. Ease of use is great though once you get it synced. If you're having issues linking up Bluetooth try clearing your Bluetooth cache as that worked for me. Things I really like about this gimbal. It's easy for someone like me to use having never used one. It comes with a tripod so I can use it stationary and hands free for general blogging. The app is loaded with extra features which add cool spins on your video or photo experiences. Battery life seems good so far, used it a bunch and haven't charged it yet again. Things I do not like. It constantly gets hung up on my phone, but as stated above I do have a galaxy note 10+ so it's a large phone. It was a paint to originally get sorted out, and the instructions are not that in depth. Overall, I definitely like it, and my complaints are something I feel are going to come down to the individual user not really an issue with the gimbal itself.

flawless balance

I didn't realize you need to download ab for this. Took me a while to get it to work but once I got it to set up, OMG. I want to take it everywhere with me. Its bit of size to go into my purse but if you are a person to carry around like messager bag, it would work fine. I think its great to take it for camping. But even for weddings. It makes you wanna video everything. Video quality will come out depending on what phone you have. my Samsung note 10 has best picture quality and result is beautiful! Balance act this gives while you filming is amazing. Its flawless.

Light-weight steady Phone Gimbal

Always wanted to buy a phone stabilizer to take videos while walking my dog. This phone gimbal is the perfect one for me. It is small after folded and is lightweight, so I can even put it into my waist bag and I can easily hook it up with my phone whenever I want to use it. It really makes filming my dog while walking much more steady. Love it. Probably will try to make some travel vlog with it someday.

A reliable phone stabilizer

The price is good. I have tried to use it to make a video, it helps a lot, makes the recording dynamic and smooth. I think I could make the recording better if I did more practice.
