Huge difference from my 2019 macbook pro facecam!

I love that you can just plug it in, and my Macbook Pro recognized it right away. I also used a USB extender, and it worked with it as well. It also works with elgato HD60S if you're planning on using it as a gaming cam. Overall, you won't be disappointed with this camera.

Cheap and Effective (Your light levels are important)

For the price and with proper lighting, this camera performs beyond my expectations. I really am surprised by the camera. I bought it because it was cheap and had the reviews and features I was looking for, but I've been pretty impressed by it and have recommended it to colleagues as well. What I found while using this camera is that your lighting is very important. The camera itself does well in lower light conditions. At first I thought it was washing me out a ton, but that's because the only light source was behind me. When I turned off that light, or added a bit of indirect light in front of me, the colors suddenly came out much better. The camera and microphone both function much better than standard laptop integrated systems, and the mounting is super simple and relatively secure. Overall, very pleased.

Suitable for 98% of People Needing a Webcam

I work from home and with the current times, I am having to use Zoom multiple times per day. I needed a webcam that connected to my desktop mac so that I wouldn't aways have to use my laptop. My only requirements were... 1. Decent video quality 2. Plug and Play 3. Small enough to not be obtrusive This camera met and exceeded my expectations. It didn't require any software, it truly was plug and play. I've used it with numerous different softwares and it has worked flawlessly each time. The video quality is much high than my Macbook Air. The only drawback is that the built in microphone is mediocre at best. This is not an issue for me at all, however, because I use headphones for most of my calls. This is a perfect option for anyone looking for the basics I mentioned above. If you are shooting an online course or need it for some other specific niche, I would suggest a dslr, but for everyone else, it's wonderful.

Better than expected quality for zoom meeting

Purchased this 1080p webcam for zoom meeting. It is truly a plug and play on both windows 10 and Mac machines; An improvement compared to built-in webcams of MacBook Pro 15 2016 and HP laptop's 720p webcams. Video image is cleaner and crisper, color looks correct even in low light conditions. Focusing adjustment is achieved by turning the big lens knob. When HD is enabled in Zoom it provide pretty wide angle coverage, which is nice. Since we will be using lav mic for voice, we use this webcam for video only, but it does have a built-in microphone to choose from. Overall it feels sturdy and provides better than expected video quality at rather reasonable price tag.

Great Camera, Low Price

As everyone else in the world, I have found myself needing a webcam for Zoom calls, etc. I ordered one back in April that was severely back ordered and never arrived. I found this one and decided to give it a try. I was a little unsure about the original description and pictures how the camera was to fit on the monitor securely, but as you can see from my pics attached, it fits easily and perfectly (I use a desktop computer with two 26" widescreen monitors). The back piece simply adjusts so that you can softly clamp it to the back of the monitor and therefore it sits easily on top. This also makes it easy to adjust it to point more downward or upward depending on your needs. It was a little smaller than I expected, but that is not a problem in any way, in fact it's a good thing and makes it less noticeable. The webcam arrived super fast and I am very pleased with the video and sound quality after initial testing. I would definitely recommend this camera for at home use on a desktop or laptop and it is a nice quality for the price!

Working from home I needed a webcam for meetings so I thought I would give this a webcam a try as the specs seemed great for the price, and I am extremely happy with the purchase. It gives you a lot of flexibility in the way that you mount it. The USB cable that connects it to your computer is long so it can easily reach your computer. The best part of this webcam was that it was plug and play. I did not have to install any software for it to work, I just plugged it in and it was ready to go for video conferencing. The camera automatically adjusts for low light conditions and worked well in my room even at night with minimal lighting. The video quality is great and the audio quality was great as well. The people I was having calls will saw me crystal clear and hear me perfectly. The wide-angle is great as it gives you room to move around and still be in the frame. It would be great for fitting in multiple people easily for having multiple people on your calls. This is a high-quality product and I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a webcam for work or any video conferencing.

Amazing video quality! Great price!

Got this so the stepson could video chat with his mom , who moved out of state.. With so many of these on the market it was really hard to decide , after reading the reviews I was sold on this one .. so happy I did.. Extremely easy to use and set up , amazingly beautiful video quality! He also likes to use it with his gaming computer to chat with his friends, while they play the same game together .. Great webcam for the price!! Very happy with this purchase!!

Works Great and Easy to use!

Tried this out on an old Dell Laptop with windows 10 upgrade a new ASUS thin Laptop and a few year old Dell Desktop and in each case it was simple plug and play and up and using within a few minutes. I use all three of these computers and can easily move the camera from one to the other as needed with no fuss. Picture quality is true 1920x1080 and looks better than the cameras that came with the two laptops. Works with Zoom no problem. Microphone is fine - sound quality is decent - about the same as the built in laptop mic with a little better background noise reduction. I generally use a plug in lapel mic anyway for serious video cons. Almost forgot to mention - manual focus is a must have - and just turn the lens a bit either way to tweak the focus if you want to get close or further from the camera no problem to be in focus. All in all a simple, effective device that does its job.

Better than the Microsoft HD $100 camera

Best part of the camera is the audio quality. My Zoom conferences are mush better as a result. Vido is sharp and it is a fixed focus camera. That is good because the MS auto focus was very obnoxious. Have ordered another one for the office.

Good value in a simple camera.

Good value in a simple camera. Picture is sharp and the colors are vibrant. More so than my other cameras. The microphone is very sensitive. The manual focus is very easy to adjust thanks the the generous protrusion around the lens. The mount attaches easily to most monitors even the fat bezel on my old unit. Light sensitivity is terrific so it works great in a dimly lit room.
