You Get What You Pay For

I had always wanted one of these digital frames and after doing a little research, I came to realize that there were sooo many to choose from. I decided to go with this version because it came with an easy to use app and I could also send out invites to my friends and family and they could also upload photos to the frame, right from the privacy of their own homes. I also liked that the quality of the photos wouldn't be lost when uploading. So, when the box came, I was very pleased that the packaging design was very sleek looking! I truly believe that in this day and age, with all the digital options that are out there, you really do get what you pay for! This frame was a little bit more expensive than some of the other ones I had been looking at, but when I opened the packaging, it was clear to me why it was a few bucks more than the others. It was really well made and it would fit in perfectly with the decor of my house (I think it would go with most decor as it's just a minimal black 2" frame). After I unpacked it from the box and uploaded the app to my phone, it literally took me 4 minutes to turn on, upload photos and set up my account. Being easy to use was the main feature I was going for and it did not disappoint. I started by uploading about 15 photos and went onto the app to change the photos to display every 30 seconds (again, really easy to do). I'm now inviting my friends and family to add to my frame (which is really easy to do through the app) so they can add some photos that were taken of my (social distanced) birthday party last weekend. All in all, this is a really cool frame! It's really well made, has a nice design, is REALLY easy to use and the images are really crisp and clear. I'm getting excited to go back through all my old photos on my phone and upload them. I always thought it was such a waste taking a fabulous photo on my phone and being limited to where I could view it. With this frame I can actually utilize some of the best photos that I've taken and not have to deal with printing them, finding a frame and then hanging them. Really cool purchase and I might even buy another one for my bedroom!

Crisp Images, Well Built, Great Packaging

Unlike many of the digital picture frames we have had, it sits on a table very stable. Instead of your typical little picture frame arm for balancing, it has a deeper back kind of like traditional televisions. The images are amazingly crisp. One feature I like is how it displays two pictures side by side. Set up was pretty simple. I connected via bluetooth and wifi. I installed the app and began selecting pictures to add. Pro: 1) Crisp Images 2) You can give this to family and then add pictures to it. 3) You can adjust the speed that it changes the images. Con: 1) When adding pictures from the app, I couldn't quite tell at first if the ones I selected were added. It was a bit confusing. I got the hang of it though after a few tries. Packaging: The packaging was really well thought out and designed for the device and power cord. It is very well protected for shipping and looks great when opened (as if a gift).

Great frame for photo displaying

The frame was very simple to set up and download of the app was fast. I uploaded some pics I had on my phone...love the WiFi feature for that. The frame offers split screen display of pictures which is nice. I also like that I don’t have to worry about shutting it off as it’s sensors shut it off at night when the lights are out. Its also a plus that I can adjust the amount of time pictures are displayed before the next one comes across the frame. Nice clear picture. I’ve uploaded new and older pictures with ease.

Beautiful pictures and well crafted frame

I bought this frame after our recent trip to Paris where we had to stay much longer than expected because of Covid, we ended up taking a lot of pictures of (mostly empty) Paris and we thought we should display those in a nice frame. I am not into technology too much, I like doing things the "old way" but I got to say that this frame works very well for me. Here is why: 1. It's super easy to setup, I was guided all the way, no difficulty what so ever (my mom could do it, and actually I'm gonna buy her the same frame). It's super easy to add pictures to it via the app and there is no worry about memory space since it comes with unlimited cloud storage. 2. It looks and feel like a nicely crafted regular frame! No touch screen (hence no finger traces on the glass), no ugly button, just an invisible sensor on top of the frame to interact with it. 3. Our pictures look amazing! The luminosity of the screen is very well tuned, pictures are bright but not too much, again it looks like a regular frame but it is not! 4. You just need the app to add pictures to it, it's pretty easy, so it's fun to discover new added pictures by my wife once in a while. 5. The makers of this frame really worked the details: The cord is wrapped in a nice and tight fabric which makes it very pretty. At night, it turns off automatically as the light goes down, then goes back on when it detects more light around. Overall this frame was a very pleasant surprise and I highly recommend it! Our Paris pictures look beautiful!!!

This is a fantastic product!

This frame is fantastic! I literally took it out of the box and using Bluetooth and the app , I was able to upload my pictures within a few minutes. The frame has great quality. I am able to see my pictures clearly, and the quality is so clear. I will definitely be recommending this product to my friends!

This really is in league of its own!

Folks, if you are looking for an electronic frame, this Aura Carver is the one to get! My wife wanted a frame for her 90+ year young Mother, so we could share pictures with her and she with us. Given COVID-19 and Shelter in Place orders, this has become even more important. Based on the description, I bought this to try it. On opening the shipping box, my first thought was, “Wow, impressive packaging!” It was well protected and good-looking, too. Just right for gift giving, as it really does not need gift-wrapping. I bought the black frame. It has an understated elegance, as it is more a matte dark graphite, rather than a flat or glossy black. Taking it out of the box, it felt like a quality product, substantial, not flimsy like my prior frames. The stand is built in, too. Nothing to assemble or break-off. Besides the frame, the box contained the user’s manual and a power supply (with cloth wrapped cord). Setting it up was simplicity itself. Instructions were on both the back of the box (in easy to read print) as well as in the excellently formatted user’s manual. Started by downloading and installing the AURA App on my cellphone. Plugged in the power supply to the wall socket, plugged the cord into the frame. It turned on and asked me to name it. Next, it asked for my Wi-Fi password and connected to my network. Finally, the frame and my phone exchanged a Bluetooth “handshake”. I then selected the photos on my phone that I wanted to send to the Carver frame. From that point, it took less than 1 minute for the first photos to start showing up in the frame. In addition to your phone’s pictures, you can use photos from your desktop via Google Photos or iCloud. The AURA App allows you to invite others you choose to “share” their photos with the frame, no matter where they are as long as they have internet access. The process is simple and quick. The controls on the frame are simplicity, too. There is one touch bar on top of the frame. Swipe left to change the picture, hold it to open the menu for removing a photo or to shut it down. The frame’s picture quality is excellent and bright. A nice touch is that it automatically turns itself off when the room’s lights are off with its built-in light sensor. All in all the AURA Carver frame and AURA App are well designed and easy to use. Over the years, I have had other frames. However, this one is so much better; it really is in league of its own. I highly recommend AURA Carver frame.

Great for Grandma! But she needed help setting it up

My husband and I got this for his grandma's 88th birthday and it's just perfect! With the gift option, we were able to let many family members upload photos through the app before it was even opened so that there were nearly 300 photos ready in the lineup. In addition, we can see what photo is on it at any time and change it. And we don't have to worry about it running out of storage since it's unlimited cloud based photos. The slideshow mode has options for how fast it goes. The default (10 minutes I think) was too slow so we set it to change every few seconds and she loves to sit and look at it. And the great thing is that we can keep adding new photos, which is especially good since she doesn't have a smart phone. It did take a somewhat tech savvy person to set it up (you do need a smart phone and internet), but luckily there were many capable people to help her (we live in a different state, so I can't say precisely what the setup was). She didn't really understand what it was at first, but she loves it more every day.

Super User Friendly!

I ordered the AURA digital frame as a Father’s Day gift for my husband and couldn’t be happier with it. The packaging is very sturdy with lots of details to make sure that the frame arrives intact. The frame comes with the frame itself (which is super sleek) and a really nice power cord that is long and covered in braided fabric as well as a users manual. After my husband opened it, it took less than ten minutes till our pictures were on the screen. After downloading the AURA app the setup could not be much easier, it didn’t even require re-entering a WiFi password! It gives you the option of inviting friends and family to contribute pictures which we did and even grandma got the hang of it. My husband was really impressed with the dual portrait mode so you see two pictures on the screen at once, but my favorite surprise was how your “live” pictures are shown as little videos. The resolution is also fantastic. The AURA frame was a hit gift and we are continually having fun adding pictures to the cloud and seeing our memories on display.

This product is all that its fantastic reviews claim it to be but it's even better in person. So, we said goodbye to our beloved family member, our Standard Poodle of 13 years and 7 months on Friday. On Saturday we got the idea to have a digital picture frame with the zillions of photos that we had taken over the years as a tribute to our dear boy. It is Sunday and we 1) Received the product this morning, 2) Loaded pics from all of our phones in a very short amount of time, and 3) We now have this WONDERFUL tribute and reminder already playing non-stop in our family room. We keep passing by it and lingering to cherish our great memories of a beloved pet. The Aura frame is so easy to use and the quality of the frame, overall solid construction and picture clarity are outstanding. Some photos are so clear it has a 3D vibe. And, it plays the "live" photos from the iPhone so you get some with animation, which is delightful. You can see his collar hanging on the frame because . . . well, just because. Definitely worth every penny of the price. We highly recommend for a photo display of any kind - but especially for this lost loved one. 😢

Perfect!! Super easy!

$199 might seem like a lot but you get what you pay for. This is a quality frame and sooo easy to use. I bought this for my in-laws and they can easily add photos from their iPhones. My husband and I have the app for it too so we can add pictures for them as well. The picture quality is great, very clear picture. Automatically turns photos to the correct position. So much better than an old school picture frame that I bought for my mom years ago. Highly recommend!
