My universal kayak racks make taking a quick trip to the water for a ride simple and easy. I have a kayak and a paddle board so some days it’s hard to choose which one I want to use but these work for both of them so they are perfect for me. I am not that big and only moderately strong but these Kyak racks are so easy to use that loading and unloading is something I can do all by myself. With that being said it makes it easy to be able to use my kyak and or the paddle board whenever I decide to. The racks are quick and easy to assemble. I used an electric screw gun to tighten all the hardware, so they went together quickly. At 9.8x15.7x14.6 they can hold anything fitting those dimensions safely. They are covered with a heavy duty weather resistant out door paint making scratching,rusting,or even chopping minimal. They are made of thick steel tubing and can hold 150 lbs. The foam Padding portion and the rubbery base cover are made of real rubber foam that is waterproof and Sunproof. They also give your vehicle a classy racey spiced up look, while protecting it and your items. They can be installed without any drill holes. They are streamline in a water drop shape design, efficiently reducing wind, noise and resistance. At 16.07 lbs I can easily install or remove them to store or even out on another vehicle. The one thing you need to know is that you do need the bars/bracket that goes along the roof of your vehicle, so that you have something secure to attach the racks to. These make my adventure life a lot easier with less struggles.

Simple to install, great for loading the kayaks on

When taking the kayaks out, this universal kit for having "j bar" holders for your kayaks, paddlebaords, or surfboards work great to quickly attach to your existing roof rack, so that you can secure the kayaks for travel. Of course, depending on the height of your vehicle, it can make getting them off and on easier. Simple to get the racks themselves secured to the roof rack, then you can lay the water craft into the holders and get them strapped down. We enjoy the ease of use with this set.

Sturdy and holds paddle board well.

This is two set pack for the price of one set of Malone. I mounted on my Sienna van factory roof rack. Mounting is easy just tighten them as you can. Both of my 10’ paddle boards sits on the racks still have space in between. I worried about the wind gust on the highway, after a test drive to the state park 40 minutes away. I am confident and comfortable to transport them. Works very well.

Strong carrier, easy to assemble

We put these on t he SUV for use with my son's crew of friends. They took it to the river for their weekend getaway. it held the kayaks well and allowed them to secure them to the roof. They appreciated how easy it was to assemble and how strong the clam shell design was. No scratches or damage to the vehicle or the kayaks.

Great product

These were relatively easy to put together and install. They work well. And if you put them towards the side of the luggage racks, you can get a 3rd kayak to sit in between them 😉

Hold to car nicely.

These tie into my rave 4 nicely and hold the kayaks in place really well. Love it. It does eat your gas mileage going fast but 55 it is only a couple less mpg less.

Nice rack

I have been using this rack for over a week now. I would say it’s a well made rack and works as good for my two kayaks as I expected. No issue so far. Definitely worth the money as I go kayaking every weekend.

Great Rack

These are great! Super easy to install. Me and my fiancé have 2 kayaks and they don’t fit in his SUV so this is perfect for us to transport them
