Tough motor, good for rock tumblers
I bought this to make a rock tumbler for my wife. This motor has worked amazingly well. It's been able to handle turning several pounds of rock continuously for days without a single hiccup.

I've purchased 4 of these now! They work great but do vary...
So as the title says, I've now purchased (and tested) a total of 4 of these now. They work super well running 24/7 at least for the past few days (on 12v, 2amp power supplies). I have noticed though that the sound varies drastically from motor to motor. While a couple are fairly quite, the others are slightly noisy to really noise, having rattling or just loud motor sounds. It's about 50/50 with the ones I got (2 quiet, 2 quite loud). I kind of wish they were all as quiet as the quieter ones. One in particular is very loud. Not as loud as a paper shredder or anything, but louder than the others for sure.

Affordable high torque DC motor for experiments
This is a solidly built DC motor with gear reduction to 30 RPM. It has substantial weight, so I feel confident it was well constructed with high quality materials. I am using it to experiment with my video camera equipment - to try to automate some of the movements. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

DC Motor Controller
Just received the PEMENOL Motor Speed Controller. Hooked it up to a 30V 10 A DC power supply to check it out. Powered up fine when I got the power supply hooked up. The LED display is easy to read. The unit output is switched by the control knob by pushing it in. There's an LED above the knob to indicate on or off. The knob has smooth indents as you turn it, indicating the PW percentage on the LED display. It goes from 0 to 100. Don't know what the PWM frequency is. I didn't hook it up to my oscilloscope. I ultimately wanted to use the controller for a 24V gear motor, but I tried it on several other DC motors first. I tried a regular 6V DC motor it was able to control the motor very smoothly up to 100% modulation, except at really low pulse widths. Probably just too short of a voltage on time for DC motor dynamics, not a problem with the controller itself. Next I hooked up my 24V DC gear motor that runs nominally at 1000 rpm and 24VDC. The motor controller was able to again control the speed smoothly from about 15 to 100% modulation. Looks like it will work great for adding speed control between a fixed DC power supply and a lot of DC motors. Very useful and easy to connect.

Very nice
This is a very torquey motor that runs cool even under constant use. I paired it with a 40 tooth pulley and belt, and it moves right along at 1000RPM! Well worth the $$

Torge was right
I setup this motor to rotate my bowls on the tailstock of my lathe so I could paint resin on them while turning. Lathe speed was way too fast at slowest speed so I built my own turner. 30 rpm had just the right amount of torqe to do the job. Motor runs for about 3 hrs while resin sets up.

Excellent little motor
My goodness is this a nice little motor! I'm running it at 9V and I can barely hear it at that voltage. I even tried 24V and it still was pretty quiet. I don't know what I can really say about it other than it looks like it'll last a very long time.

Great motor, lots of torque, good value...
I needed a small electric motor with low RPMs and lots of touque to run a home made fish feeder. It fit the project prefectly. The overall quality of this product is very good. I would definitely purchase the again for future projects.

Excellent strong little motors.
Used these in my x-mass animatronics this year instead of windshield wiper motors which I normally use. They held up very well and had the torque required when given a power supply with sufficient amps.

Great motor
I have purchased three of these motors and they all work great. I recommend that you also purchased some heat shrink tubing to reinforce the connections after you solder the wires on. This will prevent them from fatiguing and break off.
