For those who have been disappointed with adhesion, it's VERY important that the glass be clean and free of soap, fingerprints, or any other contaminate. Use whatever you have to; alcohol, acetone, eyeglass cleaner, etc. And, be sure it's dry. DON'T TOUCH the sticky part with your fingers. My application has remained in place for about 2 months now with a perfect seal. EDIT: Now about a year and still totally stuck on.

The door between my kitchen and garage had a bit of a gap. It became very noticeable once the cold weather arrived. I ordered and installed this weather stripping and it's noticeably warmer. Definitely blocks the cold air from getting in.

Easy to use and install. Better then the foam strips. One roll is enough to do one door and easy enough to remove if you live in an apartment. Update 4/23/2020 - Since I've had this on my front door for a long period of time it has worked great. The 3M adhesive has kept sticking with no issues. But I did clean the edges of the door with an alcohol wipe before securing to the edges of the door. The apartment I live in has a somewhat offset front door with huge gaps between the door frame and door so this product has done a great job of keeping out the wind and cold air. And did I mention it's still adhered to the door like the day I stuck it on.

I put this on a front door that has gaps you can see light through. I’ve used several different types of weather stripping in the past, but none could survive the door opening and closing. It’s been over a month now, and this is still stuck tight and working well. I’m happy with it.

This Weatherstripping is made of a clear Silicone and has a sticky side to it. It works very well on Steel doors. I had to first clean the door, let it dry then apply the weatherstripping. It has cut out the wind around the door(s)!!

Measured and installed in our stand up corner shower at the bottom of the door that was dripping all over the floor due to old seal failing. Wiped the metal surface at the bottom, which had some soap scum/build up, and got it as clean as I could. Removed the backer from the rubber strip and stuck it on...seemed to be adhering very well and to this date it's doing exactly as I had hoped. No sign of peeling or coming off at all. Very happy...may use for weather stripping on an outside door that has a draft as well...would be a bonus if that worked as well.

Fast delivery. Works great. Sealed the drafty door in 30 seconds.

Some background: I am renting an apartment that is on the 3rd floor with a balcony. There is a sliding glass door that opens to the balcony. I have a wonderful cat that I love, so I made the balcony into a fenced-in catio. I put in one of those sliding glass door dog doors for her, and after installing it, I started noticing a massive bug/gnat infestation. It took me FOREVER to figure out where they were coming from. I finally realized that installing the doggie door made it to where there is now a roughly 1 inch gap between the sliding door and the stationary glass panel. This gap was not only allowing massive amounts of bugs in, but also outdoor temperatures (and my electric bill was ridiculous). I tried filling the gap with just some Styrofoam and then a cut pool noodles. Both methods worked okay, but they made it impossible to open the door with them installed. Then I finally found this product! Here's the review: This product has been AMAZING for my problem. It was super easy to install (took less than 5 minutes) and the adhesive is fantastic! Not only has my bug and temperature problem been fixed, but there is no wind that comes through the gap now either! And the best part is that I can still open and close my sliding glass door with no problems! This product has been a life saver, and for a very reasonable price too!

Used for my front door. Simple to use. Works well. Just the tight thickness. I’ve had it on a couple months. Working well.

There's a large 1 inch gap on my warehouse 72 inch tall double doors. I do not want other people to be able to peep through the huge gap to checkout my warehouse inventory. So, I bought this brown silicone 45mm trip as privacy strip and it worked out well. I placed the strip vertically from top to down on one of the doors, and it completely blocked out the gap in between. The silicone strip is soft and flexible, it allows me to open and close the two doors easily without any problem. The color also blends in well with the frame of the warehouse, now my problem is solved!
