This is tape. Well, amazon bothered to send me a (probably automated) request to write a review, and i guess it’s fair enough to let you know this is good, standard clear packing tape. It forms a strong layer to seal my packages, and to hold them closed in case of rough handling. It sticks well to the cardboard boxes that i use, mostly reused amazon boxes :-). I have a simple red plastic manual dispenser with a cutting edge, not a fancy tape gun, and so i appreciate that this seller tells you the diameter of the roll. These fit my cheap dispenser perfectly. I can write on it with a sharpie. I dont know what else to tell you. Tape is tape. There is nothing wrong with this tape. This is good tape! Ok, i can think of one caveat. While i was buying this, i was going to send some to my sister in florida. She said she doesnt need this much at a time, and said that (any) tape just doesnt keep well in florida heat and humidity, so dont send this many rolls to your sister in florida. Did i blather on too much? Thank amazon for asking for my review. Of tape.

Other brands TAKE NOTE! This tape is heavy duty and it stays in its place! I repeat this tape is for heavy boxes needing to ship and for moving with ONE layer of tape. You do NOT have to be "scared" the box may bust open if you don't double wrap the box with tape, if you have this tape. You can confidently use one layer of tape and be on your way. This is BETTER than that Duck tape's tape (and even that grey heavy-duty duck tape which I desperately tried) and its absolutely BETTER than everything at Walmart, Target, and the Staple's brand. I will not order any other packaging tape if the value remains this good. If you want to save money, just buy this tape already!!!!!!! I could not recommend this anymore, it's the best stuff I've tried yet! I would gladly take an unlimited supply of this tape (PERFECTAPE LOL)... it's that great! Please save me some... and keep this in stock.... please and thank you :)

Great packing tape that is thick and adheres well

I ordered the heavy duty packing tape recently and have used it heavily. It is far thicker than another tape product I was using. I was actually surprised by the quality because of my previous experiences with packing tape. It does not separate as much when I am restarting the tape. It stays adhered to the items I have adhered it to which have experienced wind and moisture. I am happy about applying it to packages because I know it will stick. I will order again as needed and recommend it based on my experiences on packing tape.

WORKS BETTER THAN ANY NAME_BRAND!!

I am so very pleased with this tape. I have been packing a 5 bedroom home for a move and first purchased a name-brand tape that refused to stick to the cardboard boxes! I thought I would give this a try and I am so very pleased that I did.... It works GREAT!!!!!!

Thick Sticky Packing Tape, Fair price

I'll be moving soon so I bought these tapes. To make sure all my belongs wrapped up tightly. I have to buy better quality packing tape. I came to AMAZON looking for strong packing tapes, with reasonable price. I happen to find this one, its price attracted me and thicker than What I used to buy. Big differences!

As expected! Shipping tape is shipping tape. Refill set for my generic tape dispenser. Very strong and ultra sticky!

It Holds and It's My New Number 1 Choise for Tape

I wasn't sure what to expect from a 6 pack of heavy duty tape that sells for 11 dollars specially when you compare it to other brands selling for twice this amount. When I got the tape I quickly tested it against 3M packing tape, and scotch heavy duty packing tape. Out of the 3, Scotch was the thickest BUT only very slightly. I had to feel both for a long time. It was closer to 3M tape thickness. Ok I'll throw another brand into the equation. I've used Power Plus tape from the dollar store. It is by far the best value for the price. Only 1 dollar and you get a decent amount. However, power plus is super super thin. I would usually have to double layer the power plus on boxes. I used power plus for some moving boxes and it held up. The point I'm trying to make is that PERFECTAPE is 10x BETTER and therefore I would choose PEFTECTAPE over all the rest. Why? Because you get a high quality tape at a great price. One layer will be more than enough for your shipping, moving, and majority of all other needs. One thing I will note. The scotch and 3m didn't pick up fingerprints on the sticky side after touching it. The perfect picked up fingerprints much easier. Not a deal breaker. Just don't touch the tape on the sticky side.

Works well; good all-purpose tape for light/medium duty tasks

I'm pleased with the performance of this tape. It sticks very well, comes off the roll without a struggle (I'm using it with a tape dispenser) and doesn't have much of a odor to it. The thickness is 2.7 mil, which is fine for most light and medium duty tasks. For really heavy boxes you'd want to go with a thicker tape (3.2 mil or thicker). But for the day in, day out tasks of sealing small/medium packages or the like, this works very well and is an excellent value for the price.

Good quality

Normally I buy tape from a local store but that's not possible right now. I was extremely apprehensive about purchasing tape online because in general I've seen a lot of reviews which are saying tape doesn't stick or it breaks. By rule of thumb, almost all clear tape doesn't stick unless you roll a blunt object over it such as a coffee mug bottom, bottom of drinking glass, bottom of glass jar. I've shipped tens of thousands of items since the 90s, and that's basically always been the case. It's best practice to use a blunt object as if you're "ironing" the tape to force the air bubbles out and make the adhesive bond to the cardboard for a prefect seal. That said, this tape is a lot more dense than I'm used to, and I don't really see the reason it needs to be this dense. The tape I usually use is pretty thin. This is around the thickness of cheap duct tape. I have yet to have any issues with it, breaking or unpeeling. Worth mentioning that I do not use a tape gun because I move faster using the roll and a pocket knife by hand, so cannot vouch for its usage that way. There are no toxic smells coming from the tape either, which is very important because as some of you know some tapes can clear a room with foul odors and make you feel sick. I would say overall it's very good quality, but at the same time it's nothing to write home about. It is worth the price. I will order this again.

Heavey Duty & Awesome!

I purchased the Perfectape Clear Heavy Duty Packing Tape, 1.88"x 60Y, 3 Inch Core, 6-Pack, Shipping Packaging Tape Refill Rolls by PERFECTAPE because I am always taping boxes at home and at work. This tape is GREAT! Easy to pull off of the roll, easy to break, and easy to apply to the boxes. I have already taped 2 boxes and they are sealed really well. I highly recommend this packing tape for even your biggest jobs.
