Works like magic on most bolts!

I am not a handy man and I am always looking for products to help me around the house or garage. I don't know how some people can just look at a bolt and automatically know the size just by sight. Not me, so I decided to try out this universal socket. Here are my impressions after 1 week of having it The overall feel of the socket is good. Feels like any standard, solid socket. The little pins are tight and when you push down on then, they spring right back up. It doesn't feel like some cheap product you'll find at a dollar store. This also comes with the little adapter to make it suitable for most wrenches. So I went into the garage and started testing out this universal socket on everything. I was able to tighten the screws on my kids bike with ease. You literally just push the socket onto whatever nut or socket you're trying to tight or loose and just turn. It's really that simple and effective. No more having to change sockets or trying to find the right fit. What a total time saver! After tightening up the bolts on the bike, I went to something more difficult to put this to the test. We went under the hood of our 2001 toyota 4 runner and started to tinker. I attached every bolt I saw just to see if I could loosen it with this socket and it works as advertised. The spring technology inside the socket is like magic. It securely fits around whatever size bolt you need. Just push down and start to turn. Awesome tool

This is a great little tool to add to the toolbox for those quick and easy jobs. It's also great for those things that aren't a standard size like an eye hook or any other type of hook that screws in. This will form around the hook and make it super easy to screw in. I purchased this to take the bolts off my my mower so I can sharpen the blade. This makes quick work of the bolts and no more guessing which socket to use cause I can never remember. It has a great color and finish to it that makes it look really cool. You can beat the price for this tool. So versatile and handy to have around and takes up hardly any space in your box.

One socket to rule them all

I knock things loose on my workbench and in my weight room ALL THE TIME. I've also come to realize that I have at least 6 different sizes of bolts throughout the system I have in place. This just consolidated the toolkit I use to tighten the benches up every 2-3 days down to one piece. There are several of these out there, and I've only tested this one in particular but for everything I've tried it works just fine. Would recommend for similar use.

One size fit all socket !!!

I typically use a regular socket set for most applications, but I have only one set with one socket for each size in my home/hobby toolkit. Sometimes there is a need for two sockets of the same size, for example the bicycle seat mount I used this product for. It had two identical nuts on opposite ends of a rod. I knew what size socket I needed for both, but I needed to apply torque on one while keeping the other locked to avoid slipping or turning in place. Normally I would have made do with an adjustable wrench for the second nut, which would be annoying to fit and hold. Ideally, I'd use two identical sockets and wrenches, but this kind of use case isn't common enough to justify keeping a whole other socket set just-in-case. That's where this universal socket became handy. It's like a second socket set (for common sizes) that fits in a pocket and is inexpensive. But I wouldn't expect to drive it as a primary socket in my toolkit. It doesn't feel like it would survive for too long that way but it does hold up well so far. Best to save it for occasional use or as a spare socket where two are required or when you don't have quite the right size. Highly recommend this as a secondary socket !!

Works exactly as described

I bought this because I had to do some work on my son's bike and for whatever reason it has like 33 different size bolts. It's frustrating having to have to switch in and out my sockets. This socket is perfect because it fits all of the bolts and it doesn't slip. Pro tip: Make sure you get the center of the socket on the center of the bolt and that gives you the perfect grip.

universal socket for around the house use

Bought this universal socket for use around the house as a just in case tool. I tried it on a computer bolt screw but it didn't work for that application as it was too small to grip on to. I think it is better suited for larger bolt heads where it can get some torque grip for turning. An application I can think of for use is on a circulator pump on a plumbing boiler or maybe bike/car bolts.

Great for hooks

I moved into a new place and the previous tenant had a bunch of hooks of different sizes all over the place. After trying to move, remove, and tighten a bunch of those by hand (ouch...), I discovered this thing... So handy! I hope the pins inside will hold up over time, but this has already saved me a lot of time and effort.

A must for your small tool box

I've been needing a universal socket set instead of having several tools that are similar. Works great on various bolt sizes. A must for your tool box that doesn't take up a lot of space. Wish more tools were universal tools.

Well built universal socket

Love this product. seems much more sturdy than other brand I have had. Works with multiple tools and eliminates the need to carry multiple sockets. This will be a good Christmas gift to my co workers... well built
