This T86 Trail Camera comes with some great upgrades and is not just for hunters. It can be used as a helpful security device for your property as well. Using the Bluetooth to turn on/off the wifi makes changing the settings very easy. Depending on how far away from the trail camera you are, it can work from inside a house. By doing this, not only are you able to change the settings, but you can view and download your photos and videos. This is all done through the upgraded app and it works well. The download speeds even from about 100ft from the camera, were quite good. The overall quality of the images and videos is excellent. I set the highest quality settings, as I always do, and I was not disappointed. The setup is very easy and all settings can be changed through the app, making it even easier and more accommodating to change on the fly. All in all, this is a great trail camera and worth every penny. Would definitely recommend!

So the whole reason I bought this was to find out what was eating my tomatoes at night. Low and behold on night one we got our answer! This thing is easy to set up and the app is simple enough and easy to use. You can email or message pictures, use bluetooth OR wifi, transfer everything without every opening or touching the camera. It takes 8 AA batteries. The sensors are set up to catch wildlife OUTSIDE the lens view, so then when they come in the camera is recording. As you can see in the video, the light and picture is good enough to clearly make out the animals. Use this for security, hunting, or backyard gardens. This model feels above average in the market compared to some cheap other ones that don't spend time on sensors and lenses. Also- temperature and Moon phase? Wow, that is some nice extra to the information in the video.

I like my T86 Trail Camera. It was pretty easy to set up and has good resolution on both daytime and night time images. The camera takes 8 AA batteries, which is quite a few, but it holds the charge for a long time. I have used it for over a week now, and even accidentally filled up a 32GB card with videos at one point, and it is still showing 90% battery power left. The user manual is fairly easy to understand and the app loaded onto my cell phone after I scanned the QR code image. You can also go to the Android Playstore or Apple store and download the Hunting Camera Pro app. To use the Bluetooth/WIFI feature, you first install the app on your cell phone. Then using the app, it walks you through clear steps to link the camera and phone. First you use your phone Bluetooth to communicate with the camera and tell it to turn on the WIFI signal. Then once it is on, it become visible as a WIFI network on your cell phone and you select it just like you would any WIFI network. Once you are connected to the Camera WIFI, you go to the app to see what the camera is seeing, look at pictures and videos that the camera has taken, and take pictures or videos manually. You can also download pics and videos to your phone. This feature is very nice if you want to be able to leave the camera where it is, but check on your photo/video captures. It is limited to your Bluetooth communication range, however, so you still have to be relatively near the camera. I can attest to the waterproof nature of the camera as I had it out one night with torrential rains. No problem. You can do everything with this camera you would want for a night cam – specify what hours you want it active, whether to take photos or videos, or a combo of both, how long the videos should be, what the time interval should be between videos, and so on. All of this is easy to program into the camera in Setup mode. And I don’t change that much now, so I only had to do that once. It does NOT lose your program when turned off. Also, in WIFI mode, you can change any of the camera settings remotely. So far, I haven’t found anything I don’t like with this camera and am enjoying using it to watch for wildlife in my urban setting, and to see which critter is munching on my tomatoes at night.

This works as expected. It does a good job at detecting movement from animals but not trees blowing in the wind. It was straightforward and easy to setup. The picture quality is pretty good for a camera like this. What I really like is the app and wifi. Now to check the camera I don't have to open anything or remove the SD card. I simply open the app and use bluetooth to connect to wifi (weird I know... I think it is done this way to save battery power). Once I am connected I can use the app to view all photos and videos on the app. From there I can download them to my phone then they are automatically backed up to the cloud using Google Photos. Really, the only reason I will ever need to remove this for is to replace the batteries.

I have had this camera up and running for about a month now. It took me a while to learn how to get my phone synced with the camera but it works pretty good. It is easier for me to just switch the SD card out and look at the photos on my computer but at least I have the option to look at them on the trail on my phone. I did have a problem with the sensitivity but it was operator error and I got it fixed. I have not used the video but the photos look really good both day & night. The batteries are still good which is great news because some other brand cameras I have, I have to change batteries very often. I really like this camera and I have several other brands so far this is the best especially for the money. Just read the directions and you should not have a problem setting up this camera.

I'm on a big ranch property and have been buying trail cameras for years to see what the horses, donkeys, sheep and cattle are up to as well as check on wildlife. This one is the best one I've owned to date. I picked it up as I wanted to make it easier to move pictures or videos directly to my phone without having to open up the trail camera with the WIFI feature. I mounted the camera to a tree using the included mounting straps. I then put in an SD card and set it up to take photos with sensitivity set to Medium. A few days later I went back out with my Iphone and downloaded an App called "Hunting Camera Pro" from the App store. To load pictures I walk up to the camera and app searches for the camera via Bluetooth. Once it sees it, I can tell the camera to turn on its built in WiFI wirelessly using the app. Once on, I go over to the WiFi settings on my Iphone and connect to the camera's WiFi. I then switch back to the app where I can control it without having to touch the unit itself. I was able to download full resolution images directly to my IPhone which was way easier than my other cameras. Overall once I figured out this flow, I'm very satisfied with the wireless features and the quality of images and videos from this camera. I have included an image from the camera during the day and at night as well so you can see the quality. I like how the time and temperature are also included.

I had critters raiding my vegetable patch and digging up my plantings that I needed to identify. The camera did all that. The set up took very little effort and the menus are intuitive. You can choose various photo and video settings including single shot and multi shot stills, video from 10 to 30 sec in length or a combo of 3 stills with video. The camera shots in low to full HD resolution videos and still images to 20 mega pixels. Battery life is good. I've been using the camera most every night for the past 3 weeks on the first set of batteries I installed. The Wifi was not as expected, it does not interface with a router rather it is peer to peer networking triggered by the bluetooth and the APP. It allows you to aim the camera, run setup remotely and to view the images without removing the card. It is kind of kludgy to get started but worth the effort. All in all you get a lot of features for the money.

A solid trail camera. Works well for capturing movement of both animal and human on your property. I really like the camoflauge pattern on this camera. Trail cameras are notoriously difficult to hide from thieves but this is one of the better ones for MY environment. The case itself feels rugged and has a nice rubber seal which keeps it watertight. It takes clean daytime photos and fairly good nighttime pictures. Video quality is outstanding. It also records audio. Camera comes with all the hardware required to get it into a tree and a mount the gives you some options to hang it. The app and built in bluetooth/wifi make it easy to get your photos off it without needing to swap cards or use a card reader. You can pick what you want and download it straight to your phone. Super easy and convenient! It only take a few minutes to setup after you have downloaded the app on your phone. Overall I'd recommend this camera to any one needing another set of eyes on their property.

Very happy. We're still perfecting our placement (location/angle) and photo/video settings to maximize usefulness for our purpose, but that's our execution. Product works well. Purpose/placement: deer/turkey/bear - edge of woods/fields LED/glow: functions as described Ship/package: VERY well packaged, allowing for typical bumps/bruises to external box without endangering the camera. Wireless: as other reviews state, practice activating bluetooth, then wireless. It took a few reps to get it down, but simple after that (first practiced wireless with manual bluetooth activation, then graduated to full bluetooth-wireless procedure). App is effective - but take the time to get enough reps for your personal learning curve. (Practice makes permanent; perfect practice makes perfect. Don't practice it wrong :) ) Customizing photo/video usage: LOTS of choices. We were cautious at first, checking traffic and file size/quantity implications. 128 GB chip allows flexibility in choosing photo/video options. User manual: MUCH friendlier than most (I'm an instructional designer, highly critical of poorly written manuals) Batteries: we played with it and practiced a great deal at home when it arrived (several hours and repetitions). Alkaline batteries listed at 90% after that. It's been in the woods for 2 weeks - haven't had a chance to check battery in action yet. Tree attachment: Forgot the web strap (included) when we put it up in the woods. Left camera with only our cable security lock - works fine, although not as stable as it will be when we add the web strap. :) Solid attachments for both.

The camera arrives neatly packaged in a small and attractive box. The user manual is brief and straightforward. You will remove the lens protectors, put in the batteries, and you are ready to go! The camera has buttons with which to select many options, however, it is much easier to do that with the app. The best part about the app is that it allows you to remotely start the camera wifi - no separate switch necessary. You can use the phone Bluetooth to start the wifi. Once you do that, the camera will show in your settings as a network. After the connection is established, the app allows you to fully control the camera remotely. Some neat features include the selection of the photo size, which can go up to 20MB; you can have photo and video mode, or a combination of the two. In combination mode, the camera will automatically start recording a video after a period of time. Note that videos take up more memory. You can adjust the sensitivity as well - when the sensitivity is high, you might get some pictures from wind movement. There is a timer option too, if you would only like to hunt during specified times. There are many other menu options to customize your experience. Overall, this is a fantastic value, it allows the user to share and enjoy beautiful pictures, the batteries last a long time, it withstands any weather. If you are looking for a trail camera, this is a great choice.
