When I was a kid studying pH balance always used to wonder why is this so complex. But this device made it so simple. As simple as just measuring temperature using a thermometer. I would say it's even faster than a thermometer in measuring the pH balance. Just remove the cap turn it on and insert into the water and you get the accurate pH readings right on the digital display it has got. it has got a belt clip that we can conveniently hold on into our pocket. if not they also provide a day very good plastic storage box along with the user manual. Initially some calibration might be required but they have included powders that will help get accurate pH readings by mixing them into distilled water. No rocket science just simple on and off button press. I don't think reading pH balance gets simpler than this. Every household on every person who travels should have this to measure pH balance of the water that they drink or pH balance of the water that they use or for any sort of thing that matters. Value for money for sure..

This pH meter was very easy to use. Once you calibrated, which was no problem, it gave me an accurate reading for my hot tub. I checked it against the strips and it was right on the money. With the strips I was having trouble telling which color it was. With this pH meter, checking your pH is a dream.

A gift for my sister

My sister loves this she said it was perfect for her fish tank. She also said it was very easy for her to use as well. She also said it was very accurate as well.

We got this for our many fish tanks but it is also really neat to use in our homeschool and test different types of water. It works well and is easy to use .

Quick and easy

I'm using the meter to check pH of fermentation to make alcohol. It is easy to use and gives repeatable readings. Not sure about the absolute accuracy, but it's close enough for this work.

WORKS AS STATED

So, I'm really happy with this PH tester. I'm pretty new to the aquarium hobby, so it's really nice to have a PH tester on hand that actually works. I was hesitant about this working well as it's not very expensive and not a brand that I recognize, but I decided I'd give it a shot. My PH readings on this were in line with what my city states the average PH to be, but I didn't know if I could rely on this. What I love is that they included 3 PH powders so that you can test your PH tester and make sure it's working properly and recalibrate it if it isn't. I haven't used those yet, but I did has a master API test kit with PH solutions which I did use. I got my reading about the API test kit and compared those to my PH test kit, and they lined up pretty spot on, so I know that this PH tester works well and was calibrated correctly right out of the gate. Really happy with this tester and how easy it is to use and really happy that it's reliable. It's so nice to be able to test my PH regularly to make sure all my parameters are on point. For this price, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anybody to pick up as part of their aquarium hobby arsenal.

Perfect for testing my fish tank's PH!

This product does exactly as it claims! It's very easy to use, but it is not factory calibrated out of the box. You need to calibrate this product yourself using included packets you simply add to water and test to calibrate the device. The price is fantastic for a little tool like this, 5 stars!
