Works as expected

This thing was awesome! I was using for iced coffees. I would put ice in the cup and pout espresso in and shake. Unfortunately I crammed a chunk of ice into the cup and it cracked! This plastic shaker works better than my metal one.

I regularly mix a concentration of water with 1 oz ...

I regularly mix a concentration of water with 1 oz of high powered cleaner and previously used larger measuring cups, syringes, whatever. This absolutely gives me 1 oz quickly and cleanly. Later on I may use it with gin & tonics but for now, I'll stick to the cleaning solution.

Wanted a cup that could help me measure liquid by 1oz... as well as one for taking shots with more controll (only 1oz of alcohol once in a while)

This is so handy in the kitchen. I can't believe. I bought it for one specific thing. Now, I use it all the time. Bonus: It is virtually shatter proof. I dropped it on my tile floor. EVERYTHING bursts on that floor. It bounced several times and was fine. Awesome!
