I reupholstered 4 exterior dining chairs using this bonded polyester batting over Air Lite regular density urethane foam. I had no problems with the product and found it easy to cut, stretch and staple. I used a little more than I needed, but it wasn't bulky so I had no trouble trimming the excess. The batting seemed thin and I was worried that it might tear when stretched around the tight corners, but it didn't. Bonded polyester was recommended for outdoor use, as was the foam and fabric I bought so I expect to have many good years entertaining with my renewed chairs. If I had anything else to upholster, I wouldn't hesitate to use this batting again. Very happy with this product!

I ordered this so my husband and I could build a chair out of a palette. He's pretty handy, so I told him to go ahead as long as I could upholster it. This batting provided a really nice base for me to put my upholstery foam on, and it also served really nicely to help attach separate pieces of upholstery foam together by acting like a big piece of Stitch Witchery after being sprayed with a spray-on glue. After I put the fabric on top, the batting squished down so that it was invisible on top of the foam. This is the second chair that my husband has made like this, but on the first one we didn't put batting over the foam seams, which are semi-visible under the fabric, so the fact that this fixed out problem was excellent. I was really pleased that the batting held up around corners without ripping, and it had a decent amount of stretch to it. The batting really helped to define the shape of the chair, and I would definitely get this again. It's a better price than the batting I can get in my area, and the quality is great.

I used this batting to cover 4" foam on 2 upholstered benches I made. It came in a vacuumed sealed bag, I couldn't believe the amount I needed was in that small of a package! I would suggest letting it sit for a bit to let the creases come out a bit before using if possible. Softened the edges of the very square foam perfectly.

I used it under vinyl to recover chairs. I suspect some of the negative reviewers were not familiar with the material they were ordering. Some of the reviews I read said it was too thin, full of creases, and other problems. I didn't find any of those issues. The thickness was fine, and the creases from packaging were easily smoothed out with my hands.

This is a far superior product for upholstery than quilt batting. It's easier to work with, stronger with more spring, and molds around cushions easily. I prefer to sew it on than to use spray adhesive. It comes in a very generous size. I used it for the cushions and back of a 3 cushion sofa with plenty to spare. I'm counting on it to hold up to constant use for years to come.

This batting is awesome quality. I used it to for lining new inserts for my couch cushions as well as padding to upholster my headboard and footboard on our bed.

Got this to make two long bench cushions. It worked out great and was cheaper then a fabric store. The pic shows the shorter of the two and it gave perfectly!

I cut this material up in small rectangles and use it for additional cushioning in cardboard jewelry boxes. The thing I like best is the loft, which is much higher than other products I've tried.

I was very happy with this product. I used it under fabric to cover a chair cushion. It was just the right thickness and very good quality.

I insulated a vented 8" subwoofer box with this polyfil for a deeper and warmer sound and it actually worked. I'll be using this from now on for future projects.
