This is the best windshield protector I’ve had. I live in the deep north and don’t have a garage. This saves my windshield wipers from built up snow and ice and helps prevent morning frost. It’s easy to use and I much prefer this design over other protectors that have the side mirrors attached to the protector. The magnets are strong, but don’t scratch the car if you drag the protector on the car. Very durable. 10/10 would recommend

Bought this cover for a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. I only gave this 4 stars because there is a gap at the bottom of the windshield, if it was another 2" wider I think the problem would be solved. I haven't used this cover when we were expecting snow or ice so I don't know how well it will work. Installing it was a bit tricky. There is alot of coverage on the roof area just so I could get the straps to go around the side mirrors, and to cut down in the above mentioned gap. While doing it this way yes it makes the gap smaller and goes around the mirrors but now it barely covers the windshield wipers. Putting it back in the storage bag was a trick also. The bag needs to bit a bit larger also. Once I got it back in I wasn't able to zip it back up, and I folded it exactly as it came out. I do like the fact that you also get covers, with drawstrings, to chinch it tighter, to cover the side mirrors. I also like the thickness of the cover. It's not thin and flimsy. And it has magnets on the top and bottom to help hold it to your vechile. Again the weather was good when I tried this so I don't know how well the magnets will hold if we have strong winds. Generally I am happy with this cover. I suggest if you purchase this cover to put it on when the weather is good so you will know where to put it when you're expecting bad weather. *UPDATE* As you can see we got some snow. I updated my rating to 5* because although it had that gap it DID keep the snow off my window. The mirror covers also did an exceptional job. Overall I am happy with the window cover, even with the gap. So if you can get past that I would recommend this cover.

Got this windshield protector just after we had our first snow storm, as I had to spend 20 minutes removing the snow and ice buildup off my Honda Pilot... so I will review the fit and durability and features I like. It fits excellent with plenty of width to allow for a bigger (midsized SUV). The mirror covers are attached with elastic bands which I found really handy as they are not gonna get lost or blow away while putting the windshield shroud part of the cover on, and even bigger plus is that when you put them on the external mirrors it just almost magically locates the whole thing where it needs to be, makes it really easy to use. Absolutely thought the little magnets are amazing, they help to keep the windshield shroud from lifting in the wind which will keep blowing snow and freezing rain from getting underneath. The windshield shroud is black on one side and silver on the inside so it gathers and holds warmth that will help with defrosting, (or in the event of an emergency...). Every part seems well made and a good value for what I paid. It arrived well packed with its own little drawstring storage bag making it an easy to store winter accessory for my vehicle.

This cover surpassed all my expectation; I was hoping to get a good windshield cover, I got a great one.. My previous windshield cover did it's best for a few years and it was time for a replacement for this Northeast winter. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this item mainly because: generous size, it is large; the material is thick and sturdy while pliable; it is easy to affix to the windshield with the straps provided. This is a quality, superior product that will last forever.

Bought this for winter time in Colorado. Works like a charm and it was very simple to put on. Material is very light and easy to fold up as well. I really love this product and the price is cheap. It fit my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee perfectly and covered the wipers as well. If you want no fuss or hassle of scraping ice or snow off your windshield then buy this product. Trust me you won't regret it!

I bought one for myself and one for my wife. We both drive a Toyota Corolla and these covers fit perfectly. One strap goes around each side mirror; one strap attaches to the left and right wheel; and the upper corners are shut inside the door and hooked together, preventing theft and preventing the wind from moving the cover. There are magnets that attach to the hood and to the top of the car. The magnets are padded so they will not scratch the car. The cover is long enough that it covers the windshield wipers, preventing them from freezing and becoming unusable from ice. This cover is thick and well made and is a necessity for Idaho winters. Edit** One of the straps on my wife's cover froze to her car and got ripped off when she was removing the cover. We created a return on Amazon and had her new cover shortly thereafter. I still highly recommend this product.

Already in early Dec. 2020 this windshield cover saved me from scraping PA nightly frost allowing me to get to work on time. Frost is main reason why I bought the cover. Two areas that could be improved are the strap hooks that attach to the wheels are pretzel thin plastic. I can see a hook breaking open in sub-freezing temps. Plus, while the mirror covers are quite large the draw string to tighten around the mirror's stem is difficult to adjust tightly. So I will use a small bungee cord to fasten if heavy snow or an ice storm is predicted. Otherwise won't use mirror covers. Bottom line, for the price I'm very satisfied and I plan to order another cover soon for the truck's windshield.

I haven't had it on in the snow and ice yet. Bought two and tried one out over several dry cold nights on my 2021 1500 Ram. The other is for our 20201 Jeep Cherokee. Wished I had the chance to put them on yesterday before the snow falling got icy. It would save me so much time not having to clear that front area. No problem with the longer straps to the fenders or wheels. I pull them to the front wheels. Definitely wide enough for SUV but slightly short of covering all front glass on a large pickup. Elastic to door mirrors is somewhat tight and had to carefully maneuver around those with the doors open. Should have instructions for users to do this. Pull strings for Mirror covers don't feel sturdy like they could get damaged so I didn't really tighten those. Magnets just end up as weights, like in a pvc shower curtain, since my hood is probably aluminum

I have been looking for a windshield cover for my 2018 Pacifica. This is my third try. Although it is still not quite big enough, this is the closest I have found so far. I especially like the inside snap string. The ones that just have flaps secured by door tend to slip one way or the other. Having a bucketed string really help ensuring the position of the cover does not change (when I open the door to get out, after positioning the flaps) Update on February 1 -- I've been debating on whether to keep this cover or return it because of the gap. I could not find another cover that is bigger, so I am going keep it. Taking the cover off and putting it on has been pretty easy. Taking off could be a 1 person job, and while you can put on the cover by yourself, it is much easier doing it with another person.

I no longer have a parking shelter for my 2007 Chevy HHR so I had to get something like this cover. Hadn't needed it until night before last when we got a white Christmas. Slapped this bad boy on the car the night before and found the car encrusted in a beautiful coat of white snot. Popped the cover off the car and it was completely clear. It's light enough to not be a burden yet heavy enough to protect the car from the elements. It fit quite nicely with enough fabric to cover the entire windshield. Shook of the snow, folded it up, and - voila - it's ready for the next snow storm. I really like the pouch to store it when I'm not using it. Love it!
