Good buy

A pH probe is a MUST for any home brewer or pool owner. Sure you can use strips but they are far from ideal and are less convenient. With this it’s a calibration and then dunk it in and get a number. Takes the work and guesswork away from looking at a color scale. My pool maintenance amounts eyeballing some 10% bleach every couple days, eyeballing muriatic once or twice a week, checking pH when I feel like it and checking Chlorine once a week or varied based on weather. Super easy. What I like is it’s inexpensive, the three point calibration is easy, and it’s good to 0.01. What I don’t like: I have standard buffer solution that is not usable for calibration because the pH is different from the pre programmed calibration points. When I need to recalibrate I’ll have to buy more packets to mix the buffer solutions

Quickly tested water. Found out our water filter isn’t that good. Hope our farmers market come back soon! We can use this electric one instead of the papers.

There are three packs of PH buffer power in addition to the PH meter in the box. I purchased this one to test the PH of drinking water (for fun). It's easy to use and not expensive.

Love these Pen Meters

TDS meter seems to work well. PH meter goes out of wack very fast. Every time I use it I re calibrate it to make sure it’s accurate. I would not recommend the ph meter. I don’t trust it considering it was so far off after sitting for a week. I wrote this review and was contacted by Vivosun immediately they offered to send me another ph meter no questions asked. Now that’s a company that appreciates its customers. I hope this one works better then the last. They also said they are sending me a better set of instructions.
