I used these behind new harder rubber door sweeps I installed at a local elementary school. I pulled the old sweeps off, cleaned the doors quickly, and then cut these (easy) to size. They stuck very well on the cold doors, and the screws on the new door sweeps had no problem penetrating these and gaining a hold on the pilot holes in the door. Here in Montana, it never hurts to have a second layer of weather protection, and while I hoped these could replace the hard rubber of the door sweeps I was tasked to replace, they are too thin to work alone. As a second layer though, they are highly flexible and easy to work with and ensure a great seal.

Some of the doors in my house have a fair sized gap, possibly from house settling over the years or whoever built the house installed them wrong. But it was letting cold air in and sometimes even some rain. This has helped a LOT but also in spring and fall I have this crazy stinkbug/Asian ladybug infestation that happens, and those gaps are like a secret entrance to get in my house and turn my bathroom and loft into their graveyard. (They come here to die, as to why they do this ritual every year I do not know) this has helped reduce their numbers and mostly they appear to die outside now.

When it is windy, I have water coming through the doors to the outside. This tape is super simple to install and prevents water infiltration. Works perfect and look okay too.

Just used this product to fill in areas of draft. It works. Very easy to use also

Great solution for my house, windows and doors are a complete wall against insects.

Easy to install. Keeps the drafts out around my doors. Much better than adding the felt weatherstripping.

Awesome weather stripping door seal strip!!!It is used to prevent air leakage from the door crack, and the effect is very good. The main reason is that the viscose surface is very reliable. After more than ten days, there is no sign of peeling. The rubber material is very soft and can fit the gap between the door panel and the door frame and the ground very well. It is also used on windows and wardrobe sliding doors. And there is no peculiar smell, you can use it indoors with confidence.

I got this as we have windows and doors where the draft comes in. Heat is one thing but cold weather is a different story as I literally get sick in the cold. This is a nice size roll of weather stripping that is made well, thick and going to be perfect to get my house done.

I installed a dog door into our sliding glass door recently and for whatever reason the past few weeks have introduced ALOT of flies into the house and it has been totally intolerable!!! Imagine 30 flies in your kitchen seemingly out of nowhere! Upon closer inspection, having the glass door open partially to accommodate the dog door has opened a gap as the door was not meant to be open part way without the screen door shut so this has served perfectly to close that gap. Along with closing the path for the flies to come it has shut off the path for heat and cold to enter so hopefully this will save us on our AC bill as well. The adhesive seems strong and the great thing is the silicone seems very flexible and hopefully it will hold up in the sunlight.
