I love the convenience and ease of purchasing Amazon Gift Cards! I have lots of nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews that are of an age where they would like to choose there own gifts and it's fun and interesting to find out what they buy each birthday and Christmas year. These cards arrive in their home mailboxes in one day and I get to choose a personal card and message with each gift card. I can even choose to have the gift card gift wrapped in a box for a specific occasion. Thanks Amazon for this great service!

I've gotten Amazon gift cards for family members for years because for the people who have everything, they can pick out something they'd like instead of me ending up returning something they didn't like. These Amazon cards can be used on anything on the site, millions of things to choose from, with no restrictions - you can even use them to buy things from third party sellers on Amazon. You really can't go wrong giving this gift card as a gift! My only complaint is that over the years, they've gone from nice hard plastic cards to thin, cardboard cards. Also, if you write a message to the recipient, it will NOT appear inside the greeting card but on the packing slip. Aside from that, you really can't go wrong!

I know they will like their gift if they pick it out themselves. I get to see a sincere smile of appreciation instead of the fake smile and awkward feeling you get when you consistently suck at picking out the right gift. I always ask that they be sure to tell me what I got them after they use it! Then I get to see that smile again! How cool is that!

I used to purchase AMEX gift cards because as a Platinum customer AMEX only charged me a total of $3.95 (plus card value) for the many gift cards I purchased for Christmas and other holdiay gifts. Then this year AMEX raised the price to $7.95 per gift card! What a rip-off and for a loyal customer. So I turned to Amazon and bought a whole bunch of Amazon gift cards all sent individually to the various grandchildren. They were far more pleased with the Amazon card!

BUY GIFT CARDS ON LINE!! When you buy in a store someone could have already written down the "card number" on the back and then they just keep checking on line to see if the card was bought at the store and activated. It happened to us at Christmas last year with an AMAZON gift card. When my daughter went to use the card, it had already been used up by someone who had "stolen" the number off the back. Luckily I had the receipt and I was able to talk to Amazon and they were so great....they "reloaded" the gift card right then and there! Amazing customer service!! But just to be on the safe side I ordered these on line!!

Ok- Here's the rundown: Five kids ages 4-19, husband, dog...you get the jist. Any hoo - After always scrambling for cash around the holidays, the last couple of years I have started purchasing amazon gift cards when I go to the grocery store. After all, when you are buying enough toilet paper for SEVEN butts, who really notices an extra 25 bucks? I also order EVERYTHING possible on amazon. I'm serious. Lightbulbs, dog food, lady products. I have even ordered a box of 60 assorted instant grits simply because I don't have enough room in my grocery cart. I love these gift cards- I usually add one to every order and I now have a $!*×ton in my panty drawer, which doubles as my Christmas bank. This way my husband thinks I only spent one crap load of money for the holidays instead of two.

Received this with my 4K Samsung during a sale. I mean what can I say it's a 100$ you can only spend on Amazon. (Not that it's hard to do that anyway) Amazon runs deals for refilling it occasionally that might save you 5 or so dollars here and there. Would make a great gift for someone who shops online a lot.

These Amazon gift cards that come with a blank greeting card are extremely convenient! They usually arrive in 24-48 hours. I don't have to worry about buying a separate greeting card, since Amazon has some really nice greeting card designs for all occasions. The greeting cards are blank on the inside, but that doesn't bother me, as I prefer to personalize my greeting cards anyway. I also like how many of the gift cards themselves have a design on them as well, and that you can buy them in so many different denominations. If you buy them at the store, they usually only come in the one design with the "a" on it and have only 3 or 4 limited denominations that they can be purchased in. I've bought a couple of these for birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries. Most people I know buy something or another through Amazon. Another option I like when I'm purchasing a last minute gift (like on Christmas Eve), is the option to purchase an Amazon gift card and have it emailed to you or the recipient. It isn't nearly as pretty, but it is a very convenient option with instantaneous delivery which also allows you to purchase in various different denominations. Both the greeting card and email options also save you from the hassle of running to a retail store and waiting on a long line to buy one or two gift cards during the holiday season.

Great gift card! The card is printed well and looks good. It does have "Amazon" all over the back and under the gift card though. It's not a big deal unless you wanted a clean more personal card. I would not even think about it! After all, you are giving someone money! The envelope is sturdy and has good glue to hold is shut if you lick it. It's very easy to redeem the code. Just pull the card off and look at the code on the back of the card in easy to read text. There is no film you have to scratch off with a coin. Very good gist card from Amazon! This is a great gift if you can't think of something to give someone.

These ship quickly and free to you. Keep in mind that these are sent blank, and the intention is for YOU to fill them out and re-mail to your recipient. They're packaged in a stiff cardboard mailer so they don't bend. Inside the envelope that ships to you, you'll find a blank card in the style you ordered, with the plastic gift card attached (which sometimes has a matching design to your card but sometimes has a generic "amazon logo" design), plus a blank envelope, so you can sign the card and re-mail it in that envelope to "whoever." If you're REALLY short on time (or you're a super "Green" person), an emailed gift certificate is fine. If you have a few days to a week, these cost the same (other than the stamp you need to re-mail them to your recipient) and the cards are good quality, and really nice to send and receive.
